I've lurked from the outskirts of Tumblr since 2011, but I mostly just saved posts and pictures that I liked and put them on my old iPod nano. I was a pretty lonely teenager for the most part. Tumblr helped me feel less alone and more connected to other people my age- even if it was just from the outside looking in. I didn't actually start a blog of my own until a little over a year ago, and am having a blast with it now!
What to expect around here:
Tumblr is very nostalgic for me, and nostalgia is what brought me to start my page. đ I sometimes just reblog posts that I like and share snippets of my little adventures. But most of my original content centers around nostalgia ranging from the mid-2000s to mid-2010s, including 2014/2015 tumblr-esque photos that I take and edit myself. I absolutely loooooove the old Tumblr revival that's happening at the moment đ
Interests/Hobbies:
Drawing, painting, journaling, poetry, trying new crafts and mods, diy, late 2000s virtual worlds (particularly Neopets, Bella Sara, and Webkinz atm), concerts, listening to music on my iPod, hiking, animals, biology, being outside, handheld gaming (mostly through my DSi), goth music/fashion, feeling like a chameleon through my clothes

I was born and raised in south Texas :) While it's my home and a part of my heart will always be here, my spouse and I do have dreams of moving to the PNW someday. đ
I've worked as a neurobiology research assistant since 2021! I do hope to transition over to medical research or private industry soon, though.
While I feel that this should be fairly obvious, I'll state it anyway- this is not a safe space for Trump supporters or muskrat fanboys. I myself am female and queer, and support marginalized communities. đ
