Some thought process under the cut!

I've always wanted to depict chronic pain or waves of pain with red circle-ish pattern, well There's finally a piece where I can use it! Super happy! It's the big chunks of circle shapes centered on him, and they're supposed to represent radiation & radiation pain!

Also I have no idea how to represent the "human turning into ghost" theme outside of his body, I used red blood transitioning to green blood in the end and it just looks like his human blood was blasted out of him lol, I hope I get it across

He does!

If you look carefully at the design I posted, the crown and mask are one conjoined shape. They’re the same thing! Because of this, the crown has the ability to shape and shift what goes on under the mask/how people perceive it externally.

Not only can it change his voice, tone and inflections into something different, it can also automatically translate his voice for others to hear in their mother tongue (or best known language), even to a language Danny himself doesn’t know! It can also give words a bit of… suggestion. Such as a caring hush to calm innocents, a threatening tone to scare off enemies, or a commanding boom to make others actually listen to him. Luckily, making the voice changes requires a conscious effort by the wielder, so it can be turned on and off depending on the situation.

As an extension of this, the eyes/face that appears can also be shifted into whatever is needed, according to the situation (still requiring conscious effort, of course). That’s why, excluding the eyes, there seems to be nothing but a dark void past the mask. The glowing eyes are the base illusion given, although some other examples are shown above. These are really simple though, in reality, nothing’s the limit when you’re The Ghost King!

And if conscious control of these effects were lost…
