The best friend/ s/o (he/she has no idea about the metaverse) finds the weapons of Akechi for the metaverse and thinks he still plays with toys. When he/she confronts Akechi however, Akechi thinks he/she is deadly serious about having found out he fights in the metaverse with the those toys instead about playing with them. something in the small room caught your eye. It was a lightsaber, that of a kid’s toy, and next to it, a flashy ray gun.
You couldn’t help but stifle a laugh. Your Serious Detective Friend? Playing with toys? Pfffffffffft!
You took the saber with you to his desk, a brow raised.
“Hey Akechi, what do you have this for?”
He jolted in his seat, sweat beading up in his palms. Were you onto him? Were you really about to find out he used those for the metaverse??

You chuckled. “You seriously expect me to believe that this doesn’t mean you still play with children’s toys?”
So that’s what this was about.

Rolling your eyes, most likely not believing it, you ruffled his hair before going to his room to put the weapons back where you found them.
