Doe - Bisexual Terminology

This is the second and last post dedicated to the female bisexual terminology, Buck and Doe.

Now let's learn about doeity and what it means to be a doe.

A Doe, also known as a Hind, is a bisexual woman who accepts or subverts gender expectations associated with womanhood and femininity.

This is the bisexual equivalent to a Femme.

Doeity is different from being fem, as it encompasses more than aesthetic presentation or gender expression. Like in the definition, doeity includes community and a unique relationship to womanhood and femininity. It exudes femininity in relation to the bisexual experience.

The name Doe means "female deer" or "gentle creature". This name highlights qualities of femininity; gentleness, grace, tranquility, innocence, purity, nurture, serenity, and maternal instinct. Its origin comes from English literature and folklore, poetry and fables, from many centuries ago that reflect such qualities in doe.

Because Femme and Doe are related, let's analyze Femme to compare: The name Femme means "woman or female", and was historically associated with femininity in French culture.

Its origin comes from butching meat or trades revolved around game. This name highlights qualities of masculinity, physical strength, ruggedness, and assertiveness.
