Maybelle Blair threw the first pitch and it was so fucking cool. she pitched in the original women’s league that “a league of their own” was based on, came out as a lesbian in 2022, is a consultant for the NEW women’s pro league beginning in august, and she’s 99 years old! btw the first pitch was spot on. she’s incredible.

and on top of that, we got cute pride jerseys and won in such a fun way!
