Nirvana’s original contract with Sub Pop. Six hundred bucks well spent—not that we had it at the time.

New t-shirts for Writing Off Tomorrow are now in production. I'm proud to say that this is the second design we've printed for the band. It's been a pleasure working with them.
In other news... The Delco Pacers picked up their new t-shirts last week. Glim Dropper has custom guitar picks in production and Rodger Delany is gonna have some new t-shirts in a couple of weeks. Philly Band Merch is excited to work with Rodger, and Gashouse Radio, again. Rodger's order comes to us via the Featured Band Pack (t-shirt, music, stickers and more for only $15) from Gashouse Radio.
Does your band need merch? Probably.

Introducing The “Featured Band Pack” Promo for Bands
Since the beginning of Gashouse Radio back in 2010 we’ve had a “featured band of the week”. This is an independent artist with a a new release, or a big upcoming show. We put that band in heavy rotation throughout the week, we write an article about them, and we discuss the band on Gashouse Live (weekdays 6pm ET). Starting this week, we’re offering even more promotion for our featured band of the week.
Gashouse Radio and PhillyBandMerch.com have teamed up to bring you the “Featured Band Pack“. For one week only we offer a limited edition t-shirt from our featured band as well as a download of their latest album, and some Gashouse Radio merch all for only $15 plus S&H. It’s a great package deal, but it’s only for a limited time. Saturday at midnight this pack is no longer available.
This week’s featured band is Magnificent Birds of Prey. So for this week only, you can grab the limited edition “Nerdwolf” tee (courtesy of artist Jess Stolensoul), a download of their new self-titled album, and some Gashouse Radio stickers all for $15. This Featured Band Pack became available on Sunday, and we’ve already sold a ton. At the end of the week, we place the order with PhillyBandMerch.com, and your tshirt and stickers should arrive at your door within 3 weeks. The album is available for an immediate download.
If you are in a band and interested in being our next Featured Band Pack, please email [email protected].

Best Practices: Make More Money From YouTube Using Merch Annotations
Making money from YouTube requires more than just posting a video and hoping it gets enough plays to generate a meaningful royalty check or advertising cut. It means realizing that the video is just the start of the moneymaking process, not the entirety of it.
YouTube’s recently launched merch annotations program is a perfect example of how artists can do more with the audience that YouTube attracts. YouTube annotations are essentially notes that anyone uploading videos can place within the stream. Last year, YouTube issued an update that let annotations link to e-commerce stores powered by a select group of partners, of which Topspin was one. The result is that once a fan clicks the link, the fan is re-directed to a Topspin-powered store where the fan can purchase products.

Fans aren't buying as much music these days as they used to. Why should they? Most bands are giving it away - which is fine. But how are artists gonna make money now?
Glim Dropper t-shirts are now in production!
Bands are loving our '36 t-shirts for only $216' deal. Maybe it's all the free promotion that comes with it too? Hmm.
