I’m cracking up at the imagine of Odin chilling for a day in Valhalla and in walks Loki. Apparently he’s never getting any rest because now he has to work on sending Loki back because his sons are not allowed to die. But he’s also freaking out a bit because his sons are not allowed to die! What the hell Loki?

This makes me think of this fic by @theotherodinson, not gonna lie. Odin’s trying to get some chill time, catch up with his wife, having a good time, and oh damn there’s his younger son, oh nooo. 

Though in a sincere emotional sense I can imagine that’s just. Really upsetting, because yeah, knowing your kid died the Aesir equivalent of thirty seconds after you is…initially he’d assume Hela, which, cool, firstborn kid killing your other children, that’s fine, but yeah, nope, Loki’s like “no we dealt with her fine, thanks for nothing, this was uh a Bigger Problem”

which is distressing because, well, what about Thor, is he going to have Thor walk in next (which is also on Loki’s mind) but meanwhile Loki and Frigga are having an emotional reunion and Odin did not expect to have to deal with Loki again for at least a few more centuries, but nope, he had to go and get himself killed

(yeah, okay, it’s not actually his fault and mostly he’s just deep down upset about this happening at all, but it’s always easier to be mad at Loki)

Odin goes to Frigga like “we have to get him out of here” and Frigga’s like “is this just so you can avoid having an actual conversation with him or”

THAT ISN’T WHY (okay maybe it’s a little bit why)
