i was just rewatching the 'not my arms challenge' on dnpg and i noticed that when dan puts his arms around phil it's around his shoulders whilst phil puts his arm under dan's arms and i like to think that's how they hug each other from behind. dan does a big bear hug around phil's frame whilst phil squeezes dan's middle. (idk why i'm telling you this, i just felt like sharing)
