“That’s because there is no better place to be right now.” he said happily, grinning before he placed a kiss on her lips. “There is no place better than where you are, and where I am and where we are together.” he put his glass on the table and gently took hers out of her hand before doing the same with hers. “Do you remember the first thing we did when we met each other?” He softly runned his finger over her arm. “First you threw sand at me, which -and you should thank me about that- I’m not gonna do.” he let out a soft laugh. “But what we did after that…”
He walked around the couch, not saying anything. He placed a kiss in her neck and wrapped his arms around her waist before starting to tickle her. “Is it weird that I already liked you back then?”
"Definitely" she said, far too enthusiastically before returning his kiss. "How come your so good with words?" she asked, leaning back on the sofa and smiling happily. She really couldn't believe how this day had gone so far, it was perfect as all of Phoenix's worries dissapperated. "I remember, and I said my name was like the bird and smart arse over here picked up on it!" she said, laughing and pointing at Jayden as she talked.
Phoenix shrieked out in laughter before trying to wiggle out of his grasp and pushed Jayden back, trying to tickle him in return. After the both of them stopped laughing, Phoenix planted a swift kiss on Jayden's cheek and answered, "I liked you much more than I'd like to admit back then.." Phoenix could feel her cheeks burning, but she didn't mind.

He smiled when he felt her hand replacing his, enjoying her presence in that way. “Maybe it’s not manly to say or something, but you are my world. You’re not going to get rid of me, even if you wanted. I’ll be standing outside your window every night if someone, you know what I’m talking about, comes between us.” He softly pressed his forehead against hers, placing the hand that got replaced by hers on her cheek. Looking her into the eyes trough his eyelashes.
He let out a soft laugh before taking a sip from his drink, too. He just couldn’t stop looking at the girl sitting next to him.
She couldn't help but grin, honestly, this was all she ever wanted to hear. She blinked fast and furiously, pushing the Matching away from her mind as she did so. "This will never be our last night, not really. But I'd like to treat it as it was, just in case" she slipped a finger up his cheek and kissed him softly before continuing, "I couldn't think of a better place to be right now."
She brushed her hair out of her eyes and smiled, tonight was going far better than she ever expected already.

“Yeah,” he said with a big smile on his face, “I remember that. I mean of course I do, it just feels like just a couple of days ago, which it almost is.” He was searching for words. He let his head lean in his hands. “What I wanted to say is that I know.” he thought back at that evening, and how fast she left after that. How he spend a few days in the hills, thinking about what he should do with her confession, the sudden realisation and their first kiss. “…And that I like you too, a whole lot.”
He didn’t really know why he was suddenly out of words, his cheeks turning red. This hasn’t happened before, and surely not in front if a girl. He took her free hand. “To us.” he said with a smile while he made a toast.
Phoenix smiled at Jayden's words, what he was saying was so true. They honestly did only just go so far from what they used too be like in a space of minutes, or more precisely days. She bit her lip slightly, before thinking of her own answer. "You know how I feel.. But I just need you too know, whatever happens. You'll always mean something to me." She took his hand from his head and placed it with her own, smoothing it slightly.
"To us." Phoenix lifted her own drink before taking a long and thorough sip, and sighing happily. She snuck her feet up at her side, and turned to Jayden.
RIGHT I GOT A REALLY HECTIC WEEKEND CAUSE OF SCHOOL IS COMING AND ALL, SO I WONT BE ON TILL SUNDAY MORNING! I HAVE DONE MY BEFORE THE MATCHING PARA BUT I CANT PUBLISH IT! SORRY GUYS!<3

He smiled while he wrapped his arms around her waist. “Well, don’t hold it in then.” he placed a kiss on her forehead, while he in twirled his fingers with hers, softly swinging their hands from one side to the other. “Will the beautiful lady follow me inside? ” he asked while he opened the door. “The neigbors tend to be noisy.”
He led her to the couch and handed her over a glass of cava. “Isn’t this sort of a first date?” he asked.
Phoenix laughed when Jayden started to swing their hands, it was just like they used too. She couldn't help but smile a little more when he talked, when he looked at her. She felt like she was going to melt, and this was just the start of it.
"I'm coming, I'm coming" she joked, before beginning to walk. As they came inside, she slipped off her shoes and walked over to the couch to be face to face with a glass. "Thank you.." she replied quietly, before looking around the room. She remembered that one night when they went over Jayden's. She laughed a little at the memory before continuing.
"I guess you could say it is." She kissed his cheek softly before laughing. "This was also the first place I admitted to liking you.."

With a turn from the button he turned on the oven, so it would be warm when they wanted to eat. He expected Phoenix for dinner, spending as much time together as they could before the matching. If this was something that could be called a date, it would be their first one, and it had to be perfect. So he had promised to cook for her.
Earlier that night he had worked his parents out the door, who where far to eager to meet the girl he was always talking about. The few moments that he had with Phoenix, he didn’t want to share with them. In exchange for accepting the help from his mother helping him making Lasagna. After a while of work he was finally ready. The table was ready, the oven warm, and the food ready. He laughed a little because he saw how cheesy everything looked.
With a couple of roses he waited outside for her, smiling when he saw her.
Phoenix straightened out her red flowing dress before smiling. She was a few steps away from Jayden's house, not really knowing what to expect. Sure, she had been with Jayden before, but never like this. This time, she could do all the things she had been holding back, she could feel truly comfortable around him at last and not care about spilling anything he didn't know about, now she could tell him. Pushing her nervousness out of her mind, she began to walk, her smile instantly lighting up when she saw Jayden.
She walked up to him, before taking the roses out of his hand and putting them in her own and hugging him tightly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and breathed into his chest, before looking up and kissing him on the cheek. She bit her lip, before raising her eyebrows.
"I've wanted too do that all day."
