I remember once someone telling me that Batman functions best as a jack of all trades, master of none type of character and that permanently stuck with me on how I view his character. Yes, Bruce is an incredibly skilled fighter but not better than Lady Shiva. Yes, Bruce is an incredibly thorough forensic investigator but Barry is the best in his entire field. Bruce is brilliant, but Mr Terrific holds the crown for smartest man on Earth. Bruce is an amazing hacker, but both Barbara and Cyborg are better. I think it’s a much better interpretation than this ‘Batman solos and has to hold the Justice League’s hands through everything’ bullshit.

Tried to focus on lighting and value with this one, when I ended up going back to add color on top of the black and white I started with I ended up with 2 different versions of the drawing again, very fitting
