Week 1 was “The Calm” + “Hold Back The Night” Week 2 was “The Trainyard” + “No Way Back” Week 3 was “The Storm” + “Buried In The Red” (featuring Bit Brigade’s own Luke Fields on bass guitar.) Week 4 was “Calling Out” Week 5 was “This City Made Us” Week 6 was “Hold On (The Distance Between)” Week 7 was “The Redline” + “A Show Of Force” Week 8 was “The Dream” Week 9 was “Light’s Last Stand” (featuring Tim Cappello on sax) Week 10 was “The Good Doctor • Part 2” This week is “The Fate Of Thomas Light” Well. We’ve reached the end of the road here. Huge thank you for coming along with us on this pre-release rollercoaster the past couple of months. We really appreciate all the support. We can’t wait to get the CDs and records in your hands as soon as possible so you can read the story for the other half of the experience. And in case you somehow missed all the emails and social posts prior to this and are wondering what this is all about, Act III: This City Made Us is now in the CD and Digital pre-order phase on Bandcamp and we released one to two songs every week over the course of the last two months to pre-orderers. As of today, everything is live now in Bandcamp, so if you pre-order the album, you’ll have access to it there. And always remember, only the physical copies of the album (CDs, Records, etc.) come with the libretto/booklet that have all of the fleshed out story and incredible John DeLucca illustration and Caspar Newbolt design. And if you missed the previous newsletters and posts, it means you don’t know that MAGFest sold out in record time, but that you shouldn’t freak out if you didn’t get a badge, because we’re planning a little something here in Nashville for mid 2026 that you don’t want to miss. We’ll dole out more info on that as we know more details. But go ahead and clear your schedules for the entire year, because it’s gonna be a big little something. And stiiiiiillllll no word on a pre-order date for Vinyl, but we’re getting closer. See you at MAGFest! -Commander
Absolutely devastated. What an incredible album. Hell of an ending.
There has to be one more track on the final CD release. The abrupt cut at the end was too weird.
But holy SHIT this was an insanely good album. What a story.
This is actually such a crucial part of healing from neglect and abuse and I have to add to this.
Because indeed, people who like you will not roll their eyes and sigh at the idea of accommodating your needs, they will value your voice and be upset with you about injustice done to you, not at you for "being difficult". They will be happy when you find a way to live a better life, and help you to get there. If you are struggling, someone who loves you wants to see you smile, not tell you to smile because "you have it so good".

they can’t fix him, but they can help
Tim understands better than everyone on the team, I think, that of course Bruce will never stop. He's broken. He can't stop until he's done, one way or another, which is why Tim will never give up on him. Someone needs to be there to temper him, to slow him, to remind him of his humanity, and Tim is sacrificing his youth to do so. It's tragically why Tim is the best Robin; he will never give up on Bruce, even though there is no way to stop an unstoppable force.

This seemed like an appropriate excuse to share the best Transformers image ever drawn by human hands.

🦋🌌 Homebrew Species: The Luminoth 🌌🧶
Tired of the same old space races? Introduce the Luminoth, a gentle but resilient species of moth folk who have colonized the deep voids of Wildspace! They build breathtaking, airtight colonies of incredibly strong silk, weaving giant webs between asteroids. They are the ultimate cosmic weavers, trading exotic textiles and highly prized repair materials across the spheres.
The Luminoth: Children of the Void's Silk 🌙
Description: Luminoth appear as graceful, slender humanoids covered in soft, silver-dusted fuzz. They possess large, delicate wings, multifaceted compound eyes, and fine, highly sensitive antennae. Their natural habitat is the quiet, low-light environment of their asteroid colonies, making them uneasy in the harsh light of sun-drenched planets.
Luminoth Traits:
* Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
* Age. Luminoth mature quickly, reaching adulthood by age 15, and typically live for about 70 to 80 years.
* Alignment. Luminoth value community, quiet industry, and tradition. They tend toward lawful neutral or neutral good.
* Size. Luminoth are usually around 5 to 6 feet tall and are quite light due to their hollow bones. Your size is Medium.
* Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Key Features:
* Nocturnal Eyes: You have Darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. Your large, compound eyes are excellent at detecting subtle movement and low light.
* Wildspace Glider: You have large, dust-covered wings. While you can't truly fly, you can glide. If you are not wearing heavy armor and fall, you can use your reaction to slow your descent to 60 feet per round. In an environment with low or zero gravity (like Wildspace), you gain a fly speed of 30 feet. However, you cannot use this flight speed if you are wearing medium or heavy armor.
* Silken Appendages: You are proficient with Weaver's Tools, and your hands secrete a tough, bio-polymer strand. As a bonus action, you can coat an object you are holding (like a weapon or a rope) in a super-strong silk. You can use this silk to give yourself advantage on a single grapple check or to grant a held weapon an extra 1d4 damage on the next successful hit before the silk wears off. You can do this a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per long rest.
* Light Sensitivity (Moth to a Flame): You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in bright sunlight or within the area of a magical light effect (such as the Daylight spell or the flash from a Faerie Fire spell).
* Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one language of your choice.
Lore & Roleplaying Hooks 📜
The Luminoth are famous for their Silken Colonies—massive, self-contained habitats woven between or carved into asteroids. These colonies are entirely self-sufficient, relying on hydroponics and specialized fungi for food. They often welcome small, non-threatening ships into their outer silk barriers for trade and repair.
Roleplaying Hooks:
* The Silk Trader: You left your colony to trade your prized silks for rare metal components or unusual seeds to diversify your colony's food source.
* The Sunseeker: You are one of the few Luminoth who is drawn to the light, seeking powerful sources of solar or magical light to understand the power that is so dangerous to your people.
* The Helmsman: You are an expert navigator, relying on your antennae to detect subtle shifts in the Flow and magnetic fields that others miss. Your gliding ability makes you perfect for patching the hull during zero-g combat.

I have never been so invested in a mayoral race for a city I do not live in, in a country I do not live in, as I am right now lmao
Let's go Mamdani!
Okay, now let this be a wake up call for Democrats... people actually WANT leftist policies. Leftist policies win elections.
All the news headlines are saying how it's so surprising that Mamdani won... like, what is shocking here? He offered people things they want and they said "yeah, we want the guy who will give us the things we want."
What a concept.
