the whole “communism = starving” thing is probably the most ridiculous yet effective propaganda about the system. the literal cia reported that people actually had healthier diets under communism than americans. famines occurred like crazy under feudalism and capitalism—even man made ones. why is that not associated with these systems?

why is the fact that billions of people are hungry now and malnutrition is getting worse due to (corporate caused) climate change not tied to capitalism?

this also ignores the history of communism—already poor countries resisting imperialism. yet under capitalism you have RICH countries with people starving, rich countries who already rely on exploitation of other countries starving.

it just blows my mind.
