Subjective
I find it strange how one building seems to be in focus, while the other looks almost to be a reflection.
I like how the lady isn't looking directly at the camera in this portrait.
I really love this angle, and the way the clouds are moving. I think science-related photographs have real, interesting, stories behind them.
Photos of 2013 1/2
I chose this picture because It was one of those "perfect timing" photos and I think that makes it stand out and be original. The framing and centering of this photo is perfect and was perfectly captured.
Glamour lighting:
Glamour photography is generally a composed image of a subject in a still position. The subjects of glamour photography are often professional models, and the photographs are normally intended for commercial use, including mass-produced calendars, pinups and for men’s magazines, such as Playboy; but amateur subjects are also sometimes used, and sometimes the photographs are intended for private and personal use only. Photographers use a combination of cosmetics, lighting and airbrushing techniques to produce an appealing image of the subject
Side lighting
Light falling on a subject from the side relative to the camera position.
Rembrandt lighting is a lighting technique that is used in studio portrait photography. It can be achieved using one light and a reflector, or two lights, and is popular because it is capable of producing images which appear both natural and compelling with a minimum of equipment. Rembrandt lighting is characterized by an illuminated triangle under the eye of the subject, on the less illuminated side of the face.
Random Roll Essay
November for me was about nature and capturing somewhat of a human essence. The last roll (3/3) was labelled "Tree Personality" Because I think it's interesting how the same general subject can vary in so many different ways with texture, color, shape, and size. It's unique photographing so many different trees and looking at the differences. The second top tree is one of my favorite images from the roll. All the writing on it gives it many stories and it really stood out for me. I still kept with the general theme from my previous months theme by using textures. My favorite image from the roll would have the be both the leave photographs from roll 1/3. I really liked how the colors of the backgrounds accented the main focus/subject.

What is the function of the SHIFT key while TRANSFORMING an image? -it controls the aspect ratio
How do we SKEW a TRANSFORMATION? With Skew selected, if you click and drag any of the side handles, you’ll tilt the image while keeping the sides parallel. Holding Alt (Win) / Option (Mac) as you drag a side handle will skew the image from its center, moving the opposite side at the same time but in the opposite direction:
What is a mandala? a geometric figure representing the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism
objective: 1) movement 2)black and white 3) silhouette 4) long exposure 5) vintage
subjective: 1) There is too much happening in this photo. 2) its too blurry
Holga Camera Examples. I love how grainy these photos are, and the light leaks give the photo's a cool essence but keep it natural. I think that the brackets on the second photo add a nice embellishment
