This month I prepared a video with animated version of Photoniacs Procedural Font (link to previous blog post) which I shared last month.
What do you think about my procedural font made in C++? :-)
Can you imagine what can be done with a procedural font? A procerual font is very different from a bitmap font or from a vector font... ;)
You will see in the game.

Photoniacs - Monthly update - 4/2012
This is my procedural font for the Photoniacs puzzle game.
I will prepare and share a video with animated version of this Photoniacs Procedural Font in the next update!
BTW, this month I attended (for the first time) the Ludum Dare competition ("make a game in 48 hours solo competition"). I implemented a simple virtual machine with a simple TXT and a simple GFX editor. And then I created a short game inside this virtual machine. You may see my entry to the Ludum Dare 23 Compo HERE.
Photoniacs - Monthly update - 3/2012
My procedural texture for Photoniacs. :-)
With regard to the background music, it is a part of one of my concepts I composed more than ten years ago. At that time I used CakeWalk Home Studio 3.0 (bought with QuickShot keyboard), Stage Piano Kurzweil SP76 (in this case used only as a MIDI keyboard), Sound Blaster Gold and Vienna sound bank (distributed with SB Gold).
I decided to use the name Photoniacs only. The second name (first/bad idea) PhotonKeeper will not be used.
Photoniacs/PhotonKeeper - Monthly update - 2/2012
This month I spent majority of time on work on my 90Edges Framework. It is written in C++ and is intended to replace my old PDC Framework written in C. I can't believe I was even seriously considering to write PDC Framework mainly in assembler. Development of Photoniacs is going slowly but it is going well. I am also working on few other applications based on 90Edges Framework.

I decided to not track and to not publish monthly statistics related to development (if you are reading this on Photoniacs.net you may see those old statistics on Photoniacs.90Edges.com). I made it for fun and now we know I am able to achieve programming speed 46,93 lines of code per hour. :-))) I would like to try to publish monthly update instead.
I made few (ok, more than few) wrong decisions during last few months which slowed down development significantly. I have to admit I also lost focus for few weeks because currently this is not the only idea/project/product I am working on and it took me some time to figure out how to manage it and how to divide time between them in the right way.
I will try to publish interesting information here regularly (starting with next monthly update :) ).
And don't forget:
