Silk - Hangman

With the piece I start a collection [“Silk”] of images that will be texture based, still life, photomerges as it called today. I wish for it to resemble poetry in the way it  would kindles the imagination.

Martin Parr at the ICP & Photry Updates.

Don't know Martin....which rock have been hiding under? But seriously guys .. one of the most prolific british street shooters and member of the Magnum. Here, have a look at arguably his best work "last resort".

Brooklyn, 2014.

I've been shooting plenty over the last three months .. over which i've seen my work improve leaps. I owe that the inspiration to Martin's work mostly. Been more comfortably using flash in the street. I've gotten closer to my subjects and most importantly, I'm more connected with the experience of shooting candid photographs in New York.

Started shooting three solid projects: Men and Trees, Made For Television, Series of Unfortunate Events. A website is in the making to host my current selects for these projects.

So then ... 

What you guys have been working on?

Its hard to keep up with the dash on tumblr... so I would love if you'd send me a link to your tumblr/webby/flickr so I can dedicate sometime looking at the work ( especially if you'd like me to comment).

We should all be concerned and indignant about the disregard for human life, not only in Ferguson, but all around the world. 

We should all be concerned and indignant that without the on-going protests the majority of the population will not care.
