Hello!! I recently found your blog and im absolutely in luv with it, im a fellow muslim shifter (haven't shifted yet) and also a void, LD etc enthusiast. I know that it's possible and achievable but since i come from a very Orthodox muslim family, sometimes i think that God (allah) isn't allowing me to shift Or enter the void to manifest whatever i want. I've been dealing with this for so long and it's been on my mind lately and, troubling me . I would like to know your thoughts on it.
hii love!! so i also come from a conservative muslim upbringing. i would still call myself religious however i gave up the mainstream (cultural) way of thinking about Allah, the prophet pbuh, quran, sunnah and hadiths, because they often portray the Divine in a very very negative light that i think is honestly so disrespectful given that God is absolutely limitless and can make anything happen at any moment. unfortunately people hear that and immediately interpret it as Allah being scary, wrathful and ready to hurt them, when in Hadith Qudsi Allah Himself says: "I am how My servant thinks of Me".
i also thought perhaps Allah wasn't allowing me to manifest or shift in the beginning of my journey because i wasn't having quick successes like everyone else. i was raised with the mindset of not to get my hopes up, to "stay humble" (which in this case is to be just miserable), and that life is a "survival of the fittest" thing where only some people can shift and have the life that they want and others couldn't, i was forced to accept the "not for you" mindset by my family. but i'm super super grateful that i did more research on my own, studied the Quran and Hadiths in depth, and had experiences from Allah that allowed me to get to know who He REALLY is, and trust me He is nothing like what you've been told growing up.
it is so important to reflect on His names: The Bestower, The Most Loving, The Most Merciful, Forgiving. He doesn't call Himself these names for no reason. Allah is not like humans who say "oh i'm the kindest person ever!!" and then go around being absolutely nasty. i feel like especially growing up with a cultural (which orthodox islam often is taught sometimes, that's not what i think orthodox islam is at its core but almost everyone mixes cultural and soceital bs w/ it and says it is islam when it's not lol), we're already being trained to be in constant fear of Allah. when we're told to fear Him, our brains interpret the word "fear" as something negative when in reality it just means to follow what He's told us and be conscious of Him as the Almighty.
a lot of people argue that you are powerless, defeated, and you are at the mercy of your reality because everything is God's will. i'm not arguing w that whatsoever because I do believe everything is His will, but for me the wheels in my head started turning when i found out that you actually don't even desire anything without Him. if not even a leaf falls without His permission, how can your heart desire to have a different life or be in a different reality without His permission? our hearts are even seeking His permission to keep beating, and for us who are still alive in this reality, He's saying yes to every beat!! i definitely had my doubts pull me back when i started pondering this, wondering if the appearance i desired, or the partner i wanted, or the fame i yearned for so much was actually meant for me. but really think about it: i genuinely believe Allah would never play games with you and put such burning desires in your heart for no reason. there's always a bigger reason behind it, and i assume this to be because He's written it for you somewhere in your story.
you didn't come across manifesting, shifting and the void randomly - trust that Allah brought you to it and it is no coincidence!! coincidences don't exist in islam! not to mention if you were to tell this to the average muslims they would absolutely clutch their pearls at you lol, this knowledge only finds people who are meant to find it. Allah chose YOU out of 2 or 3 billion muslims to find manifesting, shifting, void etc, because He clearly sees something special in you. He's not holding you back from anything - you're struggling the way i was but trust meeeeeee, if i could start shifting left and right and manifesting what i want after a year of confusion, tears and struggle, i know for a fact you are no different. especially if you're still here, still trying to figure it out and make it make sense. people who do find shifting and manifesting will try it once, call it a hoax and pack it up. some won't even try it and call it shirk all together not knowing what it actually is because they don't bother to read into it. those people are not chosen personally by God to improve their lives and realities, but the people who want it ARE.
so i don't think the question is, if Allah is stopping you from shifting. He says in the Quran He will only change your external condition if you put in work as well, which in this case is internal work (also mentioned in the verse). one thing to remember is that Allah is absolutely your biggest supporter but He won't spoon-feed you every tiny thing. when you get sick, you obviously make dua but you also get medicine, see a doctor etc and then you get better. you don't just bedrot with a fever, do absolutely nothing and be like "God pls heal me" you have to take practical steps. same thing here - work on your internal monologue and change your assumptions, your self concept/identity and the more you think like someone who can enter the void at will, shift on command and have their manifestations drop in their lap instantly, the more your reality will prove it to you.
i hope this helps <3
