Michael Palin expresses his love for a man he worked with and called friend for more than fifty years. They first met as members of the Oxford University Et Ceteras, a comedy revue troupe.
“You will be very missed old friend. I feel very fortunate to have shared so much of my life with Terry.”
When asked what he will miss most about his long-time friend, Palin took a moment to contain his grief and finally replied, “I think just putting my arm around him and having a drink.”

RIP, Terry Jones 💔
I wish it wasn't real, but we can't escape reality though. It is really difficult for me right now to explain my feelings, but what I can surely say is that Terry is and will always be an inspiration for me, just because he was so passionate about everything. If he wanted to do something, he wanted it to be done perfectly.I've had the best laughs with him and I'm thankful for his contribution to comedy, history, humanity.
You will always be remembered.
