Sabine just looks at Zak from her place beside him at the table. “Shut the fuck up.” She didn’t need to hear that shit, joke or no. Sick fucking joke if it was one…
( pickamuse-anymuse ) (WHY DO YOU HURT ME)
Sabine just wandered after leaving the flat, walking around London in mostly a haze. She even wound up in a place she’s never been before by the time her legs and feet were sore from her fast pace.
Sinking down against an alley wall she just sat and stared at the gray clouds in the sky. What was Zak doing she wondered…was he ok? Had he throw all her things out? Would she come back to the lock changed and everything out in the hallway? Sab didn’t know the answers to any of those…
Checking the time on her phone she saw she’d been walking for an hour and decided to stay gone at least one to two more…just to be safe.
Zak went through half the pack of cigarettes, putting each one out either between his fingers or in his palm, before Daniel was forced out by the mix of the pain from the burns and the massive headache all of that nicotine at once was giving him. He looks around at where he sat on the floor and slowly stood, deciding that taking a shower was the best thing to do first. He needed to wash the burns and bandage them up.
After his shower, he starts cleaning up the mess Zak made, starting with the spilled coffee and broken coffee cup and gradually making his way around the flat, uprighting chairs and side tables and lamps. After a couple of hours, everything was back to the way it was before Zak went completely insane.
He sits on the couch, curled up on one end and grabs his phone.
[Text: Sabine] Hey, it’s safe to come back now. Zak wore himself out and I don’t think he’ll be here for a while.

Zak’s reaction to Sabine punching him.
It came as a sock at first. He didn’t know what he’d done and it had kind of ticked him off that the woman hired as his body guard was now attacking him. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
That was totally unacceptable. She understood, but it was unacceptable. It also made her a little uncomfortable to be reminded that Evan was both her /and/ Zak’s brother. It was just weird. “Well we should celebrate this year. I want to celebrate with you guys. And watch you guys open my fabulously wrapped presents. My hands are good at a lot of things.” Sabine smiles at him warmly, hoping he’ll say yes. Like he could resist her adorable face.
Zak places a hand on Sabine's face, gently allowing his fingers to stroke her cheek, "I think that it would be...fun." He gives a small smile. It had been so long since he'd celebrated Christmas and it almost saddened him to think back on his memories of Christmas.
"Why do you flinch so hard?"
Maybe there was a time when someone wasn’t kidding when they swung at me.

"I’m sorry…I wish you had too. I wish we could’ve grown up a together a little at least…but I can tell you anything about him." She smiles up at him, looking more like a redhaired pixie than a dangerous criminal. "Well most, I mean that’s what I’m here for. Kinda. You know what I mean." She taps the dog tags hidden his shirt and hums. Though at first it had irritate her that he had some she liked it. They shared it now.
Zak had a necklace from their mother and Evan had the dogtags from his father. As much as they'd ignore and deny it, the two of them were very sentimental. He looks down as Sabine taps the dogtags under his shirt and smiles at her in return, "Thank you. That means a lot to me."

She just snuggles her boyfriend-but-not-really-but-basically for a bit. Then asked, “so what do you want for Christmas?” She planned to ask Evan later for other ideas but hearing some from him would be nice.
Zak sighs and stays quiet for a long time, "I'm not really sure to be perfectly honest." his arms wrap around Sabine's waist. "Evan and I haven't really celebrated it since our mother died...when we want something, we usually just go out and get it."

She smiled into his shoulder, which is what she barely came up to with her short height. “As a family…and it’s going to be amazing. I used to say that about Daddy, he could be such a cuddly old Cat when he wasn’t working. It runs in the family I think.” Sabine rubs her brother’s back a little, closing her eyes and letting her guard down to just enjoy being around the only blood family she had.
He smiles softly and relaxes more into the embrace, not really wanting to leave it, "I just wish I had more time to know him. I don't remember much of him." he whispers and if he weren't hugging Sabine right now, he would have reached for their father's dog tags that he wore around his neck. A nervous habit he had when he felt a bit sad or stressed or anything.
