yesterday I witnessed the deconstruction of musical structures celebrated live on stage by the heaviest edition of Swans in their actual incarnation so far. thesis no.1: Michael Gira is a wolf trapped in an human's body. thesis no. 2: the whole swans-gang is a support-group of maniacs doing their self-therapy live on stage. still stoked by the massive amount of acoustic and optical impressions involved with this. still totally stoked by get well soon’s performance with the mannheim orchestra today at the national theater mannheim. vexations was lifted up on a completely new level through this and proved konstantin gropper to be a really outstanding artist.

today one of my all time faves announced their split. these guys alwas were a huge inspiration for me, they were the first german band i discovered doing this sludgy-doomy-brutal kind of sounds - and the best of it - they came straight outta the neighborhood. saw them many times since the first time in 2007 and they never failed to satisfy my needs in fuckin heavy noise’n’riffs and good subjects for pictures. farewell black shape of nexus, may the b.son-hooves thunder through the happy hunting grounds forever. thanks.
