voltron had to confirm shiro and adam’s relationship off screen because they were too cowardly to show it on screen and since they murdered adam, they needed context for shiro to be so upset. they didn’t want to represent people, they wanted to draw in a fanbase that was quickly leaving by dangling a good thing in their face and taking it away on purpose and it was the worst sort of thing. rot in hell.

God like I can’t say how thankful I am for Jeremy. He understands. He really fucking understands that there is absolutely no need to hide lgbt+ rep and that there is nothing to be ashamed of in having it. He doesn’t want to tease us negatively or make us anxious or upset, he wants to give us hope. He loves his fans and he doesn’t want to see them hurt, he wants to make them happy. God I’m so fucking thankful for him.
