Well, looks like I finally did it! :D Here is my contribution to the ccforhayley campaign ^___^ What is #ccforhayley? It’s a campaign to help fellow simmer Hayley, also known as loobyloucreations, who is in need of a new wheelchair, as well as a fold up ramp: her goal is to reach £5000 in order to get the best equipment she needs. The campaign (based on an idea by aminovas) serves as a way to spread the word and promote Hayley’s GoFundMe page… in a creative way! ^____^ Here you can read the post that started it all and here you can discover how to take part in the campaign, if you’re interested. Everyone can participate! :D And now, to the download itself… here’s what you’re getting! ● Resistance: EA’s TS4 braided hair converted for TS3 and retextured to look more like dreadlocks. Both genders, teen to elder. Beware, the textures are *not* perfect and are a little on the blurry side due to some UV map problems and also me giving up at one point. But! The hair has smooth bone assignments aaaaaaand… *drum roll* MORPHS! ALL OF THEM! :D That’s right, I finally learned how to make them! :D The file has also been compressorized :) ● Big City Nights - Backdrops: a little something I’ve always wanted for my game but never knew how to make, until I saw these awesome backdrops by aikea-guinea and discovered the existence of that mesh by Kimikosims3 *_____* soooo… as the preview says, there are 6 backdrops with city landscapes. Images include free backgrounds from Google images (image #1 & #2), concept art by Matthew Chong (#3), Sean Nash (#4), Saints Row The 3rd (#5, no idea who the actual artist is), Radoxist Studio (#6). Again, the file has been compressorized. ● Joe Base - Dosimetric’s sim re-imagined: do you remember that Evolution Sims challenge that was going on around last year? :D Dosimetric (whose Tumblr I can’t find anymore ;___;) made two sims, Joe and Jane base, and left them for us to edit as we liked. This was my version of Joe Base. For one reason or another, I completely forgot to post any picture of him up until I showed my hair conversion W.I.P.. Aaaaaand… got a lot of nice comments about him! :O So, I decided to upload him as well, as a little bonus ^____^ He comes packaged with default skin and base game clothes/beard (the beard shown in the previews is from University), but you’re still going to need some CCs. I’m, ugh, still figuring out the lighting in this game though.  It’s fine for playing, but getting room shots — especially the dark laundry area and the glowing counters in the kitchen — can be a little frustrating.

Having spent most of yesterday playing TS4, I can confirm I won’t be giving up TS3 any time soon. It’s a cool little game in its own right, but TS3 just has so much more to offer at this time.

Anyway, here’s the Simlish Menu Board I promised. Hope those of you who are still playing TS3 will get some use out of it. I find it goes quite nicely with Sandy’s McDonald’s and Fish & Chips signs. :)
