Slotting Overrides - Base Game plants on small slots

All those small plants that can never be put anywhere has always been driving me insane and I’ve created a couple of overrides for my own game to remedy this. Now that I have more free time I decided to complete the set and make a proper upload of it. 

When I went through the base game plants in the catalog I noticed the absolutely horrendous Vase of Sunflowers. I never, ever use it in my game since the texture is so bad and those two flowers without petals makes absolutely no sense at all to me. But with a little help from blender and a texture from one of the other sunflowers in game I’ve come up with a replacement! I think it might actually be usable now! It’s unlocked through one of the careers and I’ve kept it that way. If there’s any interest I could create a separate non-override version. Just shoot me a message!

► Slotting overrides for 23 base game plants ► Texture and model override for Vase of Sunflowers ► All plants will now sit on small, medium and large slots ► For some plants bb.moveobjects on must be activated to enable placement on smaller slots. The Sims 4 Andromeda Bedroom Set

Hello all once again, it’s been a while!

It has definitely been quite busy for me these past few months, however due to the recent events I finally found some spare time to complete this set that I absolutely adore. With that said I present to you: THE ANDROMEDA BEDROOM SET (there was no official name in ts2 so I made this up) This set includes around 20 brand new space themed bedroom items (converted straight from TS2) NOTES: 1) EVERYTHING has been playtested within the game [If you encounter any issues feel free to comment, so I can take a look!] 2) The lamp has been correctly vertex painted, so it lights up properly when the lights are on! 3) Added a lot of custom recolors so you can mix and match items with ease! 4) The “Circular Logic” Carpet that is included in this set can also be found on my “Ultimate Carpet Collection” (Don’t worry if you have both. I made sure only one catalog entry is shown!) 5) All of the wallpapers have a custom inverted swap for more variety when painting!

special note - the snow toys and a few of the sauna items are free meshes that I adapted and uv’d to the game. The rest is from TS4 or I meshed myself. 

2nd special note - (❁´◡`❁) I have 1 last gift that I’m still working on. I didn’t get it finished in time. It has several parts and won’t be complete until the last thing is done and tested. It’s proven to be a little bit more time consuming than I initially thought. lol But once done, i’ll send it your way!

Keep Tablets In Inventory

With this mod, sims will automatically put tablets back in their inventories after they’re done using them. The Slablet and the Wabbit Tablet are included in this mod as separate .package files, see table below. This mod simply changes the put down strategy of tablets to be in a Sim’s inventory by default.

The Dirt! On all of your floors!

Created for: The Sims 4 by  Velouriah

Hello everyone! Here are 5 basegame rug type objects to add some grit to all of your builds. They come in 6 swatches, grubby, sooty, chalky, dusty, greasy and mossy. There are small, medium and large dirt spots, and a corner piece, and a wall stretch piece. You can build them up, layer them, they work on all types of floors, light or dark, standard or custom content. They also work nicely on top of carpets. Your dirty, grubby Sims will thank you! These dirt spots can be found in the catalog under decorations->Rugs and have custom thumbnails. They cost 5 Simoleons a piece (Dirt cheap!)

The mossy swatches can add a lot of realism to moist tropical gardens

Do you like the new UI, but cannot get used to the new icon designs? This mod keeps all the newest UI changes while returning the icons we all know and love. 

The main menu now has the classic icons we all know and love. They do still match the redesign pretty well.

How To Install?

Simply download the package file and add it to your mods folder! That simple!

What Happens When New Packs Release?

When new packs release, they will have the new icon design. It will not effect the current icons. If another Simmer reaches out to me and redesigns the new icons for future packs, I’ll update this mod to include the icon redesign.

After seeing the new loading screen colour the Gurus came up with the other day, I still wasn’t completely happy with it. I understand that they’re never going to please everyone — that would be impossible — and the new colour is definitely easier on the eyes in general than the other one, but now I can’t read the font because I have issues reading white font on dark backgrounds.

So, I did a very quick mock up of something I thought would work and posted it to Twitter, and was shocked by how many people seemed to really like it! I thought it was just me lol

And then I went back into Photoshop and well… I might have gotten a little carried away 😂 Listen, I just wanted to see what the different colours on the new loading screen would all look like with the slight gradient and the plumbob pattern! And you know… the colour that it currently is, that glaringly bright blue that hurts my eyes? Turns out it’s a lot less harsh with the pattern and gradient over it (it’s the last one). Who knew!

Anywho, I wouldn’t even know where to begin to figure out how to mod the loading screens so this was all just for fun and seeing as I don’t have anything else to post at the moment, I figured I’d show you guys 😊

I wish EA would give us alternative loading screens, that we could choose what we want to use. I dislike the kind of blue as a colour they used, and it is not easy with my eyes either. I really think a loading screen should be more neutral, since one is forced to look at it quite often

You have the possibility to pick and choose the items you want, and plenty of them are not directly related to Henry Puffer, so you don’t obligatory have to be a Potter fan to enjoy the pack :)
