I think Saitama's habit of saving money won't disappear even after years of your marriage
Meaning that he won't send you to the maternity hospital until the last second
So one evening you're chilling with your husband and his disciple at your apartment
Then suddenly, your water breaks
"Y/n, I get that you're pregnant, but... Why didn't you go to the toilet and piss on the floor?" Saitama asks confused
"BECAUSE I'M GIVING BIRTH, YOU IDIOT!!!" you yell at him
Your husband immediately starts searching for the bag with your things
Thankfully, Genos helps him
A few seconds later, you're carried by your husband to the hospital
And his student runs alongside you with the bag in his hand
(if you want him with you, that is)
(if not, then he stays at home to clean up the mess)
Soon enough, you're lying on the hospital bed and trying to push the baby out
And Saitama... just stands there beside you and holds your hand
(alright, it's better to say that you're squishing his hand)
He's not in dread nor is he nervous
More like he's focused on what's happening
Your husband doesn't say it aloud, but he's impressed by your strength and your pain tolerance
He doesn't even want to imagine what you're going through
So he settles for supporting and being beside you
He tries to give you some advice like to breathe or reassure you that everything will end soon
(meanwhile, Genos is waiting in the hall or at home, depending on whether you wanted him to come with you or not)
And a few hours later, a baby's cry is heard in the room
Doctors take your baby and do everything that's needed
When they give Saitama your daughter, he actually feels scared because he didn't expect babies to be that fragile
And considering his immense strength, it's so easy for him to just crush this little thing in his hands
But when your child sneezes, it makes Saitama chuckle
"Bless you, little one," your man says, booping D/n's nose
Then he glances at you with a warm smile
"You did great, Y/n. Now rest well, I'll keep an eye on our daughter," you hear before drifting off to sleep due to exhaustion
And that's how a new chapter in your family starts
As with any aspect of the relationship, Genos has read a lot of stuff about pregnancy, giving birth and raising kids
He can be considered your personal doctor
Nevertheless, your husband sends you to the maternity hospital so that you can be taken care of in case he's at work when your water breaks
Though it's not like he planned to skip the whole process
On the contrary, he even makes calculations for your due date
(don't ask me how)
So Genos tries his best to free his schedule at the presumed time
Unironically, his calculations turn out to be right as you start giving birth at the exact time he calculated
Genos is concentrated on you, thinking about how he can help you
He remembers how women on different online forums said that their husbands' support by holding hands helped them
So he does that
The way your hand clenches around his shows him that it was a good decision
However, when your husband starts telling you some medical stuff and explaining what is going on to show his support, you cut him off and tell him that you don't give a damn about that
He goes silent and focuses on making your labor as bearable as possible by swiping sweat from your temples, giving you water to drink, saying encouraging words, patting your head, etc.
Genos doesn't notice how much time has passed before you give birth to your daughter
It takes a few seconds for him to process that everything is over and that you're both parents now
When doctors let him hold your baby, your husband is in awe as he still can't believe this is real
He looks at D/n, gently rocking her in his arms, and then turns his head to you
"She has your eyes," he offers you a small smile
Then Genos walks up to you and kisses your forehead, thanking you
After that, you close your eyes and start resting
Looking at your sleeping form and D/n in his hands, Genos swears to himself to take care of both of you and never let the same thing happen that happened to his family
Sonic's overprotectiveness grew once you got pregnant , as he almost never left you alone even for a moment
So of course he doesn't want to send you to the maternity hospital until it's necessary
When the day X comes, he quickly grabs all the needed stuff and carries you to the hospital
However, your husband didn't get tested and was prohibited from coming with you
Meaning he has to wait in the hallway
And it definitely is torture
Hearing your screams and being unable to help and support you is like deep wounds on his heart
Moreover, he can't even keep an eye on you!
What if doctors don't take care of you properly?
Your husband is beside himself with worry
Everything is spinning around
His hands are shaking
His breath is ragged
His mind is swirling with what-ifs and worry about you
Suddenly, your screams subside, everything is quiet
Sonic assumes the worst as tears appear in his eyes
And then, he hears children's cries
A few minutes later, doctors come out of the room and bring you to the hospital ward
One of them walks up to your husband and tells him that labor went well, and that you and your kids are all okay
Hearing this makes Sonic shed a few tears of relief and happiness
When doctors leave your family alone in the room, your man doesn't know what to do first: check on you or your daughters
Seeing how you fight hard not to fall asleep, he decides to talk to you first
He hugs you tightly, asking about your well-being
After you answer, he gently caresses your cheek, saying that you did great and need to rest now
You don't resist and doze off
Then Sonic approaches your sleeping twins and just looks at them, not believing in his happiness
Tears fall down his cheeks again as he kisses the tops of their heads
"Welcome to the world, my angels. Daddy loves you so much," he whispers, careful not to wake them up
Sonic feels like the happiest and luckiest man in the world and will do anything to protect his family
Garou works hard to earn extra money for your kid just to be on the safe side
That's why he sends you to the maternity hospital in case he is at work when your due date arrives
One day his workload is so huge that he doesn't even have access to his phone
This makes him feel irritated because he can't check on you whenever he wants
So he just hopes that nothing will happen to you while he's busy
When he's done with the work and finally free, he immediately opens his phone and sees... a lot of texts and missed calls from you
Fuck
Trying (and failing) to keep his composure, he reads all the messages
You went into labour a few hours ago
He needs to get to you ASAP
Your husband tries to call you back just in case you can answer
But of course, you don't pick up your phone
Noticing how Garou curses under his breath, one of his colleagues asks him what's wrong
And the man gives an honest answer: his wife is giving birth
The colleague offers to give him a lift, and your husband accepts
Soon enough, he's dropped off at the hospital and rushes inside
Once inside, he doesn't even ask for you and runs to your room where you've stayed for the past days
"Y/n, I–" he starts to speak loudly, entering your room
But you cut him off by hissing
Garou stops midway, looking at you as you point towards a crib
His breath hitches as he steps closer
There is a baby in the crib
Your son
You watch your husband as he examines the baby like a cat that is discovering a new object
He watches in awe as his kid wraps his tiny hand around Garou's finger
You can't help but smile at the sight
Then your husband gently caresses S/n's temple, pecking it before finally taking a seat at your bedside
"I'm sorry, the work kept me busy and I couldn't answer you in time... I got here as fast as I could," he whispers and gives you a long loving kiss
You squeeze his hand in a reassuring way and then softly yawn
"Rest well, angel. I'm not going anywhere," Garou says, kissing your temple
And you fall asleep
Your husband is sad that he couldn't be there for you when you needed him most
However, he makes up for his mistake once you start delivering your daughter a couple of years later
It wasn't even a question for Metal Bat whether to send you to the maternity hospital or not
Of course he takes you there!
He'll be damned if you weren't properly treated
Badd visits you every day and sometimes brings Zenko with him
He doesn't show it, but he can feel his knees shaking at the thought that you can start giving birth at any moment
And when the day comes, his brain short-circuits
"Badd... I'm giving birth..." you say, clutching your stomach
"Are you sure, babe?"
"Yes, haven't you seen that my water broke?"
Your husband glances at the floor and notices that you, indeed, are going into labor
He stands there for a second dumbfounded and then runs to get the doctor
While you're giving birth, Metal Bat doesn't leave your side, saying encouraging words into your ear, holding your hand, giving you water, caressing or massaging you, swiping away any sweat, kissing your temple from time to time
A few exhausting hours later, you're told that the baby will come out rather soon
Badd is happy to hear the news and ready to take the "last leap" with you
Then, suddenly, an alarm starts ringing, signaling a monster attack
"Shit, not now," the hero mumbles, checking his pager
And of course he's the only hero near the creature
Just great
When he gets information that the monster is heading to the hospital, your husband gets furious
"Sorry, love, I need to get rid of that bastard. I'll be back real soon," he says, patting your head and kissing your forehead
After that, he runs off to the monster
"Hey you, fucker!! My son was about to come into the world, but then you ruined everything! I'll make you pay for that! I swear, if I find out that something happened to my wife and kid, I'll bring you back to life and kill you again!!" the S-class hero shouts at the creature
The monster doesn't even get a chance to process what is going on before being bombarded with deadly threats and swearing and getting beaten by a bat
After making sure that the creature is dead, Metal Bat rushes back to you
At the hospital, he's told to go to your room
When he enters it, he sees you with the baby on your chest as your hands are wrapped around him to make sure the baby doesn't fall
Your husband's heart pleasantly aches at the sight as tears start to well up in his eyes
He walks up to you and kisses your temple, thanking you for the kid
Then he takes your son in his hands and pecks his forehead as well
Tears are already streaming down his cheeks
You watch with a warm, tired smile as Badd can't tear his gaze away from his child and keeps crying, seeing how happy and grateful he is
And when your daughter is born a few years later, your husband's tears of happiness get even more intense (well, at least the monster attack didn't happen that time)
Amai Mask is a busy man
And despite trying his best to be by your side, he can't be there for you all the time
Hence, he sends you to the maternity hospital where he visits you from time to time
And of course, he makes sure that you get the best treatment and stay in the VIP room
You like to watch TV on a big screen
And today, you smile proudly while watching your husband's solo concert
Then suddenly, your water breaks
Uh-oh
You're supposed to give birth in like three days
Well, it looks like the baby wants to come out sooner
The pop idol is engrossed in his concert and putting his soul into it
Something tells him that today will be a great day
He catches out of the corner of his eye how his two managers seem to have a little argument about something
Just some organizational nuances probably
Shrugging it off, Beaut concentrates on his show and continues singing
After a few hours, the concert comes to an end
"Your performance was outstanding, Amai Mask!" one of his managers cheers as the blue-haired man was chilling in the dressing room
"Yeah, I think so too. I guess today is just my day," pop idol says, primping. "Anyway, I need to contact my wife."
"About that... She's in labor."
The room immediately becomes chilly
"How long?" the man asks coldly
"For a couple of hours..."
Amai Mask stands up and turns to his managers with a killer look
"I-I insisted on telling you right after we got a call from the hospital..." one of them mumbles
Then Beaut glanced at the other manager
"I-I thought that… it'd be better if you didn't know that! That way you'd be completely focused on the show..." he says
"Are you saying that my wife isn't important?"
"N-no! I just...!"
"You're doing a great job if you're trying to get yourself fired, Kurishimo."
"I–"
"I don't want to hear it. I've wasted enough time on you. I need to get to my wife. Prepare the car for me. NOW," pop idol commands
Soon, he arrives at the hospital and goes to your room
He's informed that you're resting after giving birth
On one hand, he's glad that you and the twins are okay
On the other hand, he's pissed that he couldn't be there for you
He should have cleared his schedule better
When Amai Mask enters the room, he immediately spots your sleeping form
He kisses your temple and caresses your shoulder
After that, he walks up to his son and daughter lying in the cribs and looks at them
"You both have your parents' magnificent looks," he comments with a small smile
Now, he just hopes that the twins don't turn out to be half-monsters just like him
Flashy Flash is… quite tolerant of you while you're pregnant
But his tolerance has limits
So when a doctor asks you if you'd like to stay at the maternity hospital, your husband agrees instantly
Besides, you need to be taken care of, and he can't always be there for you because of his hero work
The hero visits you when he has free time
Much to his surprise, he even starts missing having you around
But then he realises that you'll come back with a baby who would probably cry day and night
Maybe he should enjoy the empty apartment while he can
A phone call brings him to reality
"FLASH, GET YOUR ASS OVER THERE. YOUR BABY IS COMING!"
"Be quieter, woman. No need to be so dramatic."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! A PERSON IS LITERALLY COMING OUT OF ME, I'M IN PAIN!!!"
"I heard you. I'm heading out."
"YOU BETTER! OR ELSE YOU'RE NOT THE FASTEST NINJA!"
Soon, Flash joins you in the hospital room
You cry out in pain while trying to push the baby out
Your husband raises his eyebrow, unamused, believing that the pain is not that serious
Then you grab his hand and squeeze it to somehow endure the pain
In the next moment, everything starts spinning in the man's head and then goes black
When Flashy Flash wakes up, he finds himself in the hospital bed
He looks around the room and finds you resting in the bed
And when he stands up, he also sees the crib and the kid in there
Something shifts inside your husband when he looks at your daughter
He's really a dad now
His arm starts gently caressing the baby's forehead, cheek and nose
"She has your eyes and nose," you say after watching your husband for some time
He turns to you, and you can see a small uncharacteristic smile on his face
"I hope D/n doesn't get your character though," you add
"And why is that?"
"Can't have two moodkillers in the family."
"I'm just reasonable and collected."
"Yeah, I saw that when you passed out earlier."
"I didn't pass out. I just… one of my heels broke, so I lost my balance and fell. As a result, I was knocked out."
"Sure, I believe you."
"Go get some rest already."
You chuckle and close your eyes, drifting off to sleep
Flashy Flash watches you and your daughter, trying to wrap his head around the fact that he's a parent now
Never in his life had Zombieman thought he'd have kids
It seemed like something impossible for a man like him
And yet, here he is – visiting you every day at the maternity hospital in anticipation of the day X
Your husband opens the door to your room
"Hey, dove. I brought you your favourite–" he stops in the middle of a sentence as he sees you clutching your stomach and how wet your bedsheet got
"It started..." you mumble through your gritted teeth
The man drops the package he had in his arms and calls for the doctor
After that, he approaches you and caresses your stomach and back, talking you through your pain
Not knowing exactly how he can help you makes him nervous
But he doesn't show it to you because he has to be your support, not the other way around
So Zombieman tries to remember everything he read from articles about pregnancy and delivering babies
It's heartbreaking for him to see you in pain and not be able to do anything about it
So the only thing left to do is to make your labour more bearable by wiping away your sweat, kissing and caressing your head, giving you water, holding your hand, and giving you encouraging words (or getting yelled at, but not taking it personally because he knows you don't mean what you say)
After what has felt like eternity, your babies are born
Your husband sighs in relief and caresses your cheek with his thumb
"Everything is in the past now. You did great, dear. I love you," he says, kissing your temple
Giving birth to twins was exhausting, so you drift off to sleep pretty quickly
Zombieman rocks his sons in his arms and pecks their heads one by one, not quite believing his happiness
When he makes sure that your children and you are sleeping, he goes outside for five minutes
And smokes the whole pack of cigarettes
He quit smoking once you got pregnant
But the labor was quite stressful for your husband
So he can't help but fall back into his old habit for a bit
Zombieman makes a decision that there is no way in hell he'll let you go through this again
...Or so he thought , because years later, he'll be by your side while you deliver your daughter
King is surprised when he hears from you that you don't want to go to the maternity hospital in advance
He thought that you'd prefer to be taken care of by professionals
Though he doesn't mind it because he loves looking after you
Besides, he knows that your pregnancy hormones are raging and you get homesick and start missing him easily
Now, you and your husband try to complete a difficult level in the game
You get killed because you didn't notice a deadly obstacle in the way
And King continues fighting the final boss
You watch your husband, trying to ignore the weird feeling in your abdomen
"I did it!" King exclaims as the boss falls to the ground defeated
You high-five each other
But then your water breaks
"Baby, I know I'm awesome, but not that much-"
"I'm giving birth!!!"
Uh-oh
King panics as he stands stunned, not knowing what to do
"Call the hospital and bring the bag we packed yesterday!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Tripping over nothing multiple times, your man prepares everything by the skin of his teeth
By the time he's done, the ambulance arrives at your house
You don't remember how you got to the hospital as you try to endure the pain
King constantly caresses your head and shoulder, telling you that you're doing great and everything will be over soon
However, he feels like he's going to pass out at any moment
But fortunately, your husband manages to keep his composure until the baby is born
He blinks surprised, hearing your daughter cry and watching how doctors treat her
Your husband gives you a warm smile after pecking your lips
His heart swells with warmth as he sees how a nurse gives you D/n and you start rocking her in your arms
After that, you give him your baby
As King holds her, he feels his anxiety coming back as he realises just how tiny your daughter is
Worried that he might drop D/n and getting lightheaded, he quickly gives her back to you
And then he passes out
Looks like your husband worried a bit too much about you and your baby

My very first and very awful attempt at Sonic and Flashy.... requested by someone, October 11, 2023.
I've been busy shrinking the "to do" list, we're nearing Winter's break, so deadlines have been piling up. I still have a pretty busy week ahead, but the following one will be shorter (Winter's break at last!) aaaaand I have my Birthday on the 7th. So busy times ahead, but I'll still find gaps to write and draw some, basic things if nothing else! especially now during the weekend, weekends are for resting.
