backstory below, Cw for guns, death, canon typical violence, and mentions of drug use (sorta)

but uhh summary: Quincy was the joker’s child alongside his twin sister Piper AKA Pip. Joker trained Pip and Quincy to be his little minions like a twisted version of Batman’s robins. Anyways, Quincy has a boyfriend named Calvin who knows about Joker and the shii he does, and he encourages Quincy to become his own hero or whattevvs. Quincy does so, donning the hero name ‘Nyx’ and stopping petty crimes. Eventually Quincy works his way up to stopping big crimes with folks like penguin. From the bat’s point of view he sees a potentially orphaned crime fighting child, so of course he swoops in to recruit him (this is post-Jason incident) but Quincy, loyal to his father despite himself, refuses. About a week later, joker finds out about Calvin and corners Quincy, hands him a gun, and shoves his tied up boyfriend to him. Quincy is then forced to shoot Calvin. Shaken, Quincy goes back to find Batman but cannot be Robin (enter timmehh!) and instead just sorta joins forces with Batman. Now he hangs around the manor sorta like Steph but he’s more like an annoying, unemployed older brother that gets high and buys you shit. Also, pip dies on a mission to kill tim after being crushed under the rubble of some dingy apartment and haunts Quincy as a sort of bitter ghost. Current day, Quincy has a sort of situationship with @ginger-annoyance, a Venusian that works at the daily planet. Recently he’s been staying a lot in thomes’s apartment to get over his trauma related to apartments. Also: Quincy and Thomes had a kid named Piper !
