I like birds, marine mammals, and insects. I use he/him. None of my organs work as they should, neither does my brain. I'm latino, born and raised.

I first played WATGBS in 2015, and have been on tumblr since around 2013, quite the late adopter. I enjoy digging into the psychology of characters and their motives, especially things that would realistically lead to their canon personalities.

I am a STEM major who does avian rehabilitation, and I plan to continue studying for as long as I can afford to.

Hi I am learning about the okegom multiverse and it’s literally so awesome I love the odd relationship with fumus, satanick, Ivlis and Licorice… I literally want to know so much more abt them 😭 and I want to draw them too (all I’ve managed to draw atm is Idate x sal lol)

Hell yeah, there's enough content to feed you for ages! I enjoyed Ivlis in TGG, he had some flavor to him! I also really like Satanick and his chaotic backstory But I've read the satanivlis content and wasn't able to get into it... I appreciate the attempt at fucked up dynamics but they're not well done at all, so I was never invested

I'm late to the party but- I finally played Homicipher after a friend recommended it to me! I helped my bf beat 7 days to end with you, and wanted some more cipher games to try out!

For anyone struggling to understand how the cipher works, here are some pointers based on my findings as a multilingual and language enthusiast!!

•Their language, or as I call it, Ghoulspeak, is structurally japanese, so trying to see it through english lenses will confuse you to no end.

•The amount of question marks on each word actually correlate to what word group they're in;

? - nouns; (table, chair, tool)

?? - verbs; (give, do, take)

??? - pronouns, possesives, and interrogatives (you, who, yours)

???? - adjectives + states; (happy, good, broken, sad)

????? - Greetings, Pleasantries, Multi-word social exhanges; Hello, Goodbye, Goodnight, Thank you

The dictionary is also separated into these word groups, following 5, 3, 2 1, 4 and words are generally in opposition pairs, above/below and left/right.

For example, you is above yours and I is above mine. Adjectives like good and bad are next to each other. They are also generally consistent with which side the positive and negative words are in, so if you have a collum full of positive words, you can safely assume the next collum will be the negative counterparts to those words.

•Vagueness; if you've played the game, you'll have noticed that certain words are used for multiple things; for example, Pretty and Clean are used interchangeably. This is because of the word "Kirei" in japanese having both usages. This also happens with wrong/different, as it corresponds to the word "Chigau". There are other cases, like Dirty/soiled/broken also being used interchangeably. Adjectives are also used in two forms, something can be interestING, but also mean interesTED.

>The cipher itself changes in between words; but is consistent across word pairs . You'll notice "I" is XYZ,and mine is XYZx, corresponding to watashi and watashiNO, a possessive suffix!

It'll take me some time to identify how the cypher cycling works, as I don't have the key, but as I am quite confident it is just the hiragana alphabet on a different font in ceaser cipher, I'll be able to organize it into order if I can line up the characters and establish their positions.

I'll report back with the broken cipher for those who are interested :>

I've said this before and I'll say it again: it's more important to know and understand fully why something is harmful than it is to drop everything deemed problematic. It's performative and does nothing. People wonder why nobody has critical thinking skills and this is part of it because no one knows how to simousltansly critique and consume media. Hard agree on the Sal thing. It's a "I draw him a hundred times but I clarify every time I actually don't like him 👎" case but that screams of denial to me and it's quite childish. It's 2026 you can like bad guys I promise it's okay 🥲

That's the beauty of villain characters!i love them! My current personal favorites are Sal, Idate, Femto, and Bondrewd.

But Sal is a pretty interesting case!!

You have him and samekichi, who had a similarly shitty childhood full of loss, samekichi became avoidant of affection, and sal became obsessed with it!

Samekichi fell for Wadda for how genuine she was and her warmth as a person, while Sal... I imagine he saw someone who was too kind to reject his slow boundary pushing! So it's like...

>Seeking of validation through political power and dominance over a woman he saw as property, who could offer him undivided attention

Wadda's red sea form is also an interesting look into how Sal sees the relationship too! It's shown how he actually goes to samekichi to boast, basically about having acquired something that is of value to his twin! She's not a person, she's an achievement to him.

Horrible, fascinating specimen. An accidentally well written villain. Take slices of him and put them under a microscope.

I'm a fag who is quite fond of how trauma/abuse effects psychology + how gender and status plays into it, so I'm more likely than not, actually educated on the shit I'm yapping about.

Just because a topic makes you uncomfortable (which is fair and understandable!) doesn't mean that people who engage CRITICALLY with these topics are degenerates or bad people.

Sure, there is something to be said about fetishization/glorification of such topics, and as they're easy to do in bad taste, but there are so many layers to it, that i think its irresponsible to summarize it to a Tumblr post.

I do think asking yourself what it is that attracted you to something is important, and you need to be honest with yourself about it.
