Daylight and slightly better lighting. Jade Falcons! Borrowed a technique I used on Thousand Suns rubrics back in the day. Quite shiny in person. Still gotta base them, wasn’t sure if we were going with the usual ones or not.

It’s been a hot minute but since the hubby recently wanted to paint up his Bounty Hunter(s) (you might’ve seen them on Reddit already, apparently he’s pretty prolific there) I decided to finish up this other star of Seafox before working on some Falcons for him. (Falcons are his favorite and I had some ideas on how to do a cool Turkina Keshik scheme based on a technique from my 40k days)

Tern got a minor repaint, not that the original was bad, just wasn’t *Tern*. Deleted majority of the white, though I left a collar. Looks nice. Redid the eyes to fix that googlie eye. Then went over some areas with a layer of Chameleon Storm Surge Green for iridescence.

Magnus had an accident a couple months ago and his hand broke off and He’s been sitting on my desk waiting for repair

Not sure how it happened in the first place between both glue and epoxy filler and several layers of paint but for now he’s fixed up with a fancy new bracelet.

Managed to follow Husband to LGS and play a little hammer with his friends, snagged a couple pics of Not! Caenis and the armigers as they stomped on some Necron.

Done! We were omitting the dreadnaught because it didn’t make sense nor look good with the base, so we had to find something suitable for him to step on- found an accessory from one of those ‘Treasure X’ surprise toys that worked, painted to match. We also omitted the top chest plate because... well the horns do not look good. Lol

Gotta say, disappointed with gws fit quality considering how expensive he is. He’s so detailed but unnecessarily complicated in unintuitive ways. Not a fan of how his armor is quite literally just stuck on there, it doesn’t make much sense even for a being of the warp. Were I to do it again, I’d omit the armor altogether. But Husband loves him and is happy with how he turned out so that’s all that matters. ❤️
