Surgery went well - thankyou for people's messages :) There were multiple complications but now it's over, everything is healing fairly well :)
2 weeks today I'll have a box inside my chest. Do you even know how weird that sounds now I say/type it?
a moment of silent appreciation for xander’s arse
It’s never a bad time to admire Xander’s backside.
Always reblog Xander’s arse
Just another Thursday morning...
I haven't really posted much in this past week, so I thought I'd write all of you beautiful people a little post and tell you why :)
So I had a letter through about 5 days ago telling me I have an appointment on the 13th at the hospital. Nothing major, just pre-op stuff but it will involve going through all of my medical history (there's a LOT of it) and then taking my blood and various other things. Not too bad, but just enough to scare me. Then I got anxious and started thinking, could they even do the operation? I'm allergic to anaesthetic and originally we thought it was just one type but after taking blood at 3 months old, they found I had a blood deficiency which basically means my body can't break it down properly. My heart will probably stop as it paralyses me, meaning if/when I do come round, I could actually be permanently paralysed. (Safe to say operations scare me, and I'll be having a fair few across my lifetime by the sounds of things) After that I sort of became withdrawn for a few days and decided to get too big for surgery. I don't know how I thought it'd work in the slightest! I ate like 4000 calories a day for I think maybe 4 days and then realised that I couldn't keep it up! I haven't gained even half a pound - fail! Recently I've just been coming on to check for things to do with Richard and Xander because Pointless and also Armstrong & Miller sketches have kept me going! :D I'll be back to writing lots and lots of things towards the end of May - after my operation is over and I've come to terms with everything :3 In the meantime, you can still send things to my inbox etc and send my links to Pointless things! :) I love you all, you beautiful people <3
Shoutout to the amazing person who does a shirt watch on Twitter. It reminds me Pointless is on, so I can't thank you enough <3
Richard Osman is only 22 years older than me, so there's still hope <3
He SAYS that’s what it’s for…
Hiya, had my pacemaker 10 years. Don't remember a huge amount about the surgery but can remember testing myself daily to see if I could touch my nose without it hurting lol. I'm due a replacement soon. Feel free to ask questions if it will help you feel better about everything :)
Thank you so much!Probably the main thing that actually comes to mind it - Will I inadvertently set off shop alarms? I'm so anxious in public and I don't want to set alarms off D:
A poem I wrote, assorted into calligram form. I still consider this to be one of my best pieces of English work. The theme here was politics and the economy within Britain.
Did anybody else see Richard Osman pretend to play piano on his desk today on Pointless Celebrities? He melts my heart <3
Scrolling down my dashboard when I see poetry and it reminds me of one time in college when I got so angry with the government that I wrote a whole poetry anthology about it. I got a distinction and I'm still so proud of myself for being able to produce something so great, about something so shit.
Star Wars day done right.
Just counting down the days until my operation... At least then I'll have an excuse to lay in bed for 8 weeks watching Pointless :)
As someone with epilepsy this is an important message to share. Thank you bloggers for the heads up.
I’ve said this elsewhere, but also: it’s extremely bright and even closing my eyes didn’t help much.
I know I have followers with epilepsy.
