For those of you who are new let me introduce myself.

My name is Karl and I began during 2020 to finally be able to start streaming on twitch! It's a goal I have wanted to do for years and am so glad to finally be able to.

1. What do you play?

I am predominantly a Shiny hunter and Pokémon challenge runner however I do also dip into community games and other games as I am beginning to expand my horizon of games played from more than just pokemon

2. When do you stream?

Whenever I can! I have no set schedule due to working irregular shift patterns swapping between nights and days like anyone's buissness

3. What timezone are you in?

I'm GMT +1

Pokémon Direct 3.08.22 thoughts

Well I'm sure we can all agree that was a rather amazing trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet! A few interesting things peaked out at me personally.

Firstly, I wonder if now we are officially 'taught' biology will they change the flavour of text when receiving eggs from the day care?

Secondly, with you having what sounds like three different story lines you can play through in any order with one being badges but in no particular ordering of the gyms will this give us a truer feel for how the anime works?

Hear me out, the gym leaders in the anime have been shown to use different teams for different trainers depending on where on their journey they are. Therefore, would this be brought into the game. And if so, what changes would it be? Is it solely going to be level based? Or will if also mean their teams change?

If the teams itself changes, how would this be? Would it be changed in the sense of the actual Pokémon used? Would some that evolve at later levels not be used as they are too high leveled? Or would they limit the amount of Pokémon they have on their team at the time?

Thirdly, this crystal affect we are getting. As a friend pointed out could this mean crystal onix?

But my head has more gone to the point of what determines the pokemons terra typing? Could this be a new IV and therefore hidden power like gimmick? Could this also indicate the return of hidden power?
