pikatectiveâ:
Great. Another human who didnât understand him. He honestly shouldnât be surprised by this, but that just came with the job.
But- wait; oh no he didnât. He did not just insult the hat.
âHey! This hat was given to me by my Partner! Iâm an ACTUAL Detective, pal! Donât you forget it!â It was more âPika Pikaâ, but more angry.
A middle-aged man in a cute Pikachu body.
He looked a bit shocked at the sudden angry-sounding Pika Pikas aimed at him. Though he had no idea way unlessâââ Oh. Maybe this creature took offence to him saying something about his hat? Was that it? It was very likely.
Jay couldnât stop the bubbles of laughter escaping him. âI donât know whatcha sayinâ buddy. But clearly, itâs something to do with that so outdated hat. I may call you Pika Holmes.â He began, now squatting down in front of the yellow creature with his hands propped on his kneecaps.Â
âIt has a very cute ring to it, right?â Maybe it was wrong to tease him, knowing that the Pikachu was angry at his words in the first place, however, Jay canât help it. Itâs not like the Pikachu will shock him, right? And even if he did, Jay was quite resilient to electric. He had been acted as a Lightning Rod once and he turned out far afterwards.Â
Oh, how he wished he could just use Thunderbolt. Or Iron Tail, or Quick Attack, like all those other Pikachu on the TV and in the wild.
But ever since his partner went missing, and since that accident, he couldn't even use a single move. Not on command, not even on accident.
So with that, the Detective huffed and crossed his arms, letting his bolt-shaped tail hit Jay in the face. Seems like he demanded an apology.
