Pri's Back and ready to roll!
I've been missing the open nature of Tumblr RP, so I'm coming back! The blog's still under construction, but the muses listed I'm ready to write, with a fresh start. If you knew me before and there's bonds you want to keep, DM me about it, we'll see where i am. I'll admit my grasp on some of these characters has changed, so not all relations would be the same.

Time to bite the bullet
I started making a multimuse for all my muses and such but I think the formula of Tumblr RP just doesn’t suit me anymore
I’ve had lots of fun recently in a couple of discord rp servers where all character info and such isn’t already laid out and organized you just have idea and drop it in for the most part
this extra fluidity has made it a much more entertaining process and as such i thing i have to admit that i am done with Tumblr RP.

Olimar was overjoyed; it’s been far to long since he’d seen his wife. he ignored how cold she was; he hadn’t left his spacesuit, of course she seemed cold. Her embrace was so soft, so encompssing… and it seems she’d gotten herself some new golden jewelry with that bonus he earned! it was dazzling on her, and he stared at the necklace, it’s layers. Gold. She was enveloping him with a hug, it was- why was it getting dark? were her hands always so big? Gold. she had some new Rings and Bracelets of Gold too. no jewels at all, that wasn’t her style… he tried to pull out of the hug, to look at his wife she didn’t let go. the necklace was bigger. she was wearing yellow. no. no. no. As if he were Midas, she was turning to gold, and he managed to twist himself to get another look at her beautiful Face- A Golden hole met him, and Olimar was enveloped in the glittering treasure he sought.

“STOP CHEWING ON THAT YOU INCOMPETENT BLUE BUFFOON!”
Nightmare has half the mind to tear Louie asunder for such a grave mistake, but he knows how much Olimar likes to keep Louie around for entertainment— much like an obnoxious clown.
“DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR MOUTH!?”
Louie paused, just to examine the food he’s chewing on, look back up at the... kind of intimidating dude, and shake his head. no, he didn’t really know what this was.
however, it did turn out to be edible. he has paused the chewing process at least, to just... suck on it. like a lollipop. And give a small shrug to Nightmare. he’s... going to start chewing again soon, if you don’t explain.
Wait, wait, I just realized something!!
You all know how there’s always been the question of how exactly do pikmin drink nectar, not having mouths? I think I’ve figured it out!
Consider for a moment, what pikmin were named for (Olimar’s favorite brand of carrots), what exactly carrots are, and how pikmin grow initially, before being pulled from the ground. The body of the pikmin is the root of the plant!
So they don’t drink the nectar per se, they host sort of absorb it through their skin. And then leaning over a nectar droplet to absorb it isn’t them trying to get ther faces to it to drink it through a mouth, it’s just sort of them. Flopping across it like a giant beanbag chair and sticking their arms in it to get as much surface area contact with the nectar to absorb as much as they can.
So you drop a pikmin in a puddle of nectar and just watch as it sucks it up like a sponge.
I dunno, maybe this was something obvious and I’m just slow on the uptake, but I had this epiphany and had to share it.

i’ve shown a couple of these shots individually but here’s how they all go together :] i love making pmvs and this is a Big one so this is only a very small portion of the whole thing
“O… kay…” Wow. What is that. Why does it have a BB gun attached to the top. What the hell is a Citrus Lump. She’s tempted to ask if this thing is safe — ironic, maybe, coming from the Mii with a laser cannon for an arm, and actual bombs on her at all times — but she doesn’t want the kid to feel bad. Look, he already had one beta tester ditch him. That couldn’t have been good for his self-esteem. Still. Why does a juice dispenser need a gun attached to it…? Her drink wasn’t hot, by the way. It’s a SmashBucks caramel macchiato, which naturally means Gwen paid almost ten bucks for a cup of ice and syrup, with maybe a droplet or two of actual espresso. It’s very cold. Do with that information what you will. It was then that she realized she hadn’t given the inventor kid an actual response, beyond a mildly concerned stare. She should… fix that, probably. “I mean — yeah, I could use a pick-me-up from time to time! Totally. But how does it work, exactly…?” This thing isn’t going to literally shoot iced coffee at her face, is it—
no answer on the juice or coffee, so Alph has taken the initiative to fill it with ‘citrus lump’ juice. “so, the camera is connected to some face tracking software that I can modify with my hocpad. it looks for the face, and with the parameters put in, gauges how alert someone is. there’s a timer for each phase of alertness so that it doesn’t miscalculate, but once it observes the same amount of exhaustion for long enough will act accordingly.” he’s screwing the lid and the juice is locked and loaded.
there is no longer a choice for the iced coffee. “I’ve tested it with myself, but we have very different facial structures, though arranged similarly enough that it should still read it easily enough. eventually, I’m hoping for this to even work when looking at Fox or Isabelle.” aka someone not fully humanoid in the facial area- snouts would be harder to recognize to a simple program than a nose.
“so when in practical use, you’d fill ‘er up with your liquid energy of choice, as long as it’s not hot. energy drinks, cold tea, etc. it’s sort of self rationing- while the most time was put into the force and aiming of the energy boosts, there are auditory cues. for instance- you can’t drink if you’re asleep! thus the airhorn with a mechanism on top to press the button.” that explains the red horn off the side. “And there’s a speaker... somewhere in the mechanisms as well.”
Alph pulled his hocpad out, tapping something snow that he as done fiddling with the contraption itself. “so, it’s the main gauge is your eyes. open eyes, no need for it to activate- obviously you’re awake. I’m working on something to make it be able to read how focussed you are- but right now it’s purely energy levels. essentially once I start it, the idea is to act like you’re at different energy levels- from alert and ready to work too tired or even like you fell asleep. I’ll be keeping track that’s working as well with you as it did me through here,” he indicated to the hocpad in his hand. “all the code currently is here, since this is still the testing period.”

@pikmin-and-co (Louie!) must be very lost –
“Settle down, girls!” said the Elder Dragon, Esmeralda, as she’d made her way towards the sheep pen. They’d been scared silly, the poor dears, and in a land as peaceful and quiet as Stone Hill, a spooked sheep could mean trouble. Anything from a stray Gnorc, tormenting her flock for fun, to another mischievous dragon hatchling, practicing their torching techniques on her beloved sheep.
Either way, Esmeralda — as quickly as her creaky old joints would allow her to — made her way into the pen, gnarled wooden staff in hand, ready to give the intruder a piece of her mind… though she hadn’t quite expected what she’d seen, next.
He’d hailed from a land far beyond the Dragon Realms; that much, Esmeralda could say for certain, but she couldn’t say which realm that might have been. He was a funny little gnome, with pointed ears, a protective suit, and a glowing blue light waving above his helmet. He was much too small to intimidate a nearly ten-foot-tall dragon, even if he’d startled the dragon’s sheep just fine.
“Oh! Hello there, dearie,” she’d said, gently, lowering herself a bit in an attempt to seem less frightening. An old dragon with reading glasses on her snout and a pink shawl around her middle might not startle other dragons, but to someone so small… oh, the poor thing had to be worried out of his wits!
… or was he? It was hard to tell, with that expression…
“You’ve given my girls quite a scare! But there’s no need to hide out in the pen, small one. I’m sure your family must be worried sick, searching all over Stone Hill for you!”
“Come. I’ll help you find them.”
it's safe to say- Louie was glad Olimar had disabled the startled coma part of his suit, because if it were still active... he’d very likely have not been awake for the dragon’s words. as it was, he was just recovering from teh rather abrupt physical landing from an unintentional ejection from the ship as they were entering the atmosphere... his collision had left a mark in the ground.
that may be how he scared the sheep so badly.
as it was, seeing a shadow pass over him, Louie was thinking playing dead may be a good idea. then the shadow spoke. Then he processed what the shadow had said. he slowly sat up, looking at the... thing talking to him. and decided he needed to get on his feet now.
Louie definitely looked spooked... but the last time something terrifyingly unknown hadn’t immediately tried to eat him had ended up alright, though that case was a bit more... person looking than this.
right, he should probably... say something if he’s being offered help. “Captain may not be nearby.” the atmosphere had been a bit more solid than the ship was ready for, and one maneuver to avoid a collision with something had him bump a button and he was gone. He had no idea where the ship even was. So much for a normal package delivery today...
Gwen wasn’t ‘not doing much,’ she — Okay, no, you got her. She really wasn’t doing anything. In her defense, she’d earned that moment of peace and quiet. She’d spent the whole morning putting up with fans — his, not hers — demanding autographs from their favorite skeleton. Which, in itself, hadn’t been a bad thing… but then they’d started quizzing the Mii Gunner onSans facts, asked her dozens of questions about Papyrus, begged her to ‘do the glowing eye thing,’ and…
Long story short, she needed that caramel macchiato. She needed to not talk like this for a good five or ten minutes.
But, even though she was currently very busy not being busy… she was actually pretty curious about whatever this creation was. She didn’t even know this kid — what was he, twelve? — was an inventor. Even if he’d showed her something like… she didn’t know, a potato battery-powered mini-lightbulb, that’d still be pretty cool to see. Help get her mind off of skeleton puns for a while.
“Oh, yeah? Alph, right?”
“Sure, I’ll bite. What’d you make?”
"So, it currently looks like a bomb- it's not one, it won't explode, but when testing things I'm not really putting any thought into appearances. don't be worried about that- that's why I lost my last beta tester was appearances, so I figured I best give a warning." there's a pause. "...it's also too big to have just put in my pocket. it's an appliance meant to help you stay awake and alert when working on something, typically when at a desk or table."
wait, he was looking up at her... there's a moment where it's obvious he's calculating something. "...you might be too tall for my workshop, if you stay here I can bring it- it's not heavy, it's just kind of bulky is all. one second!”
And there he goes, of to get his... contraption that is guaranteed not to explode. he comes back and... that’s a lot of exposed wires, is that a lidded cup next to some of those wires? and why did it look like there was a bb gun shooter on top...? it was about as big as his head, and was just... set on the smash-cafe table. and then he sets down a container that looks like...orange juice? wait why was there a camera on the bb-gun looking top of this thing.
“Ok, so first off, do you spend a lot of like, late nights working on projects or papers or something at a desk? or does sitting in a place just focussed sometimes lead to losing all focus to the allure of sleep? if so, this is the solution to help with that problem! I brought some Citrus Lump juice for this test, but if what you're drinking isn’t hot, we could use that instead if you want.”
