Anyway small headcanon is that Magnus is very conscious of the fact he’s basically the runt of the litter, and while he has infinite respect for his brother(s) and will hype them up any chance he gets, he still feels like he has to measure up to them somehow. He feels like he’s the worst, but you’d never notice given his sunny demeanor

It's not like Morana doesn't like cheese, more like that Morana's single experience with humans was being put into a bag and thrown down the sewers (and drowning) so Morana has an absolutely abysmal view of humanity in general and would see the ritual of throwing cheese at cats for no reason as something stupid that humans do to humiliate them. So yeah not a fan of that djggkdnffdj

I'd think Morana would love cheese if given the chance to taste it though. Esp cream cheese.

I can see it happening anon. In my mind, once a Certain Story happens, the protagonist's house gets turned into a cat shelter. I want all the cats to have a happy ending in which they're fat and retired and don't have to worry about anything else. Because I'm sappy like that.

who's the worst mewgenics parent out of all the minibosses? money is on Morana, not maliciously but she does not know corpses don't make good bday gifts

Frankly, Fenrir would be the worst parent. The guy's not built to be a dad, he has a LOT of baggage to work through and would impose impossible expectations on a child. Either he finds someone capable of reigning him in so he doesn't go full Sergeant Dad or I don't really see him having kittens in the future with anyone.

Morana would also come in close second, not maliciously, just because it's way easier to deal with dead things rather than living breathing kittens that need your attention 24/7. Luckily there's Magnus to pick up the slack, he's learned from Maisie and he'd be Superdad

I have a question since Father’s Day is in 18 days how do you think the mewgenics mini bosses would if about getting accidentally called mom or dad by their disciples yes this is a continuation to how they react to finding out they have kitten fans my plans for this one was to basically have them excellently called the cat either mom or dad after they were helped them get patched up after a fight or in marshmallows Keith Assisting her apprentice with helping a injured cat and then the apprentice just saying thanks mom or thinks dad to them by accident before realizing what they just said and immediately freaking out honestly I bet Maisie would be very worried anyways once again make sure you stay hydrated and take your time

OKAY I have finally have enough time to answer

Maisie: she's already the Alley Mom. Being called that on accident wouldn't even faze her, in fact I bet it happens multiple times a day.

Magnus: "WOAH omg you think I'm your DAD??? I've always wanted to be a dad..." general embarrassment ensues.

Lucy: I think calling her "mom" would bring back some memories. She'd probably respond with something like "Alice? No, you don't look like Alice..." her memory is fuzzy but Alice was the only one who ever called her mom.

Fenrir: DO NOT call him dad, even by mistake. I had the idea that Magnus called him dad once when he was younger and Fenrir blew up on him so bad that he got traumatized. But, that could also be because he resents Magnus specifically. A random kitten wouldn't make him as mad, but he'd still remind them that he's not their real dad.

Dack: He'd play it off as a joke but once the kitten is out of earshot he'd be bawling his eyes out. He strikes me as the guy who always wanted to be a dad.

Marshmallow: she'd think it was cute! Kinda like when you call your teacher "mom" it's cute.

Morana: death stare. Not in a bad way, just in a very "wait what did you just say are you sure" way.

Gein: Oh boy. He's not ready to be a dad T.T

Chan Hung: he'd take it well. He already sees all his apprentices kind of like children, even when they're objectively older or bigger than him.

Franklin: Alice still calls him "dad" despite him not remembering her. It doesn't have much of an effect on him. He'd either think the kitten is trying to get on his good side or just made a mistake.

Alice/Draven: I'm grouping them together because I think their apprentices would see them more as older siblings rather than parents? Either way they'd be totally cool with being called Big sis/Big bro

Pebbles: cool with it. He feels like the kind of guy who calls everybody "kid" anyway. He feels very "dad" to me, so I imagine this thing happens pretty frequently.

Stacy (bonus): UUUUUh idk. I don't know if she would even want an apprentice (for what? what does she have to teach except being miserable) but maybe one of Chan Hung's protegès might come to see her as a motherly figure. She'd be a bit confused about being called mom, and wouldn't want it to happen again.

Can you illustrate baby Rocky Bobo

I give you Maisie's first litter.

Can you guess which is which? hehe.

I mean.... he surely will! After some troubles, but once Maisie and the others find him in the Crater again he will be welcomed back into the Alley with open arms. Paws. Open paws.

Maisie in particular will be overjoyed to see her baby is still alive after Beanies took him away from her. In my mind, Bobo was the biggest of the litter, but also didn't move much or vocalize at first, so the man thought he was dead and threw him down a chute in his lab. Maisie was destroyed, but had to be strong for her other babies, and because they were already planning the First Big Escape.

Anyway, Bobo didn't die! like at all. I kind of headcanon him as having a developmental disorder that made him appear "slower" than the other kittens. Now, I have two (2) major headcanons as to how he managed to survive the Crater to adulthood

Possibility 1: Rocky Bobo has the Pet Rock ability and was adopted by a family of rocks. This would also make him able to communicate with the other rock cats, which could have helped his family take care of him (since they were rocks, they weren't exactly capable of taking care of a kitten)

Possibility 2: Crater Maker becomes his mom. Why? I think it's funny and Crater Maker is my favorite boss. Rocky Bobo gets to have two mom. This can also explain why Bobo never suffered the effects of the spores, bc the alien queen is already his momma.

SO. After being found and coming back to the Alley, I feel like Bobo would act as a type of guardian to all the new kittens. He'd love to play with them and teach them the secrets of rocks.

i have a question how would maisie feel if she found out spinnerette some how got infected with madness Ann was becoming a danger to both her own kittens Plus most of the alleys after spinnerette somehow escaped the caves Plus I would the other Miniboss cats react to seeing a vary injured maisie come back with a few spider kittens following close behind her

If it looks like a kitten, walks like a kitten and talks like a kitten then Maisie is going to adopt it.

I think Maisie would respect Spinnerette as a mother, maybe the two could even become sort of friends. If the giant spider didn't eat cats. I see them as having some sort of tense friendship, in which they do get along but one could always eat the other and her children, so Maisie would be super careful around her.

If Spinnerette ever got infected with madness, Maisie would coordinate an operation to either put her out of her misery or save her kittens from the Caves. If the spider ever managed to leave the Caves then all the Alley would come together to stop her. Fenrir would litter the place with traps, Magnus and Maisie would be at the forefront to attack her etc. etc.

Now, how would the other minibosses react to Maisie adopting all of Spinnerette's babies? I'm going to focus on the Alley specifically because I think the other cats wouldn't be affected

Magnus: chill. That's his mom, he's used to her adopting anything that moves

Lucy: also chill. Her and Maisie are good friends, and she knows how much taking care of all the kittens means to Maisie. She probably wouldn't even notice there's anything different from a regular cat, considering the mutated things roaming Boon County.

Fenrir: Now, he would not be chill about it. He thinks the spiderlings are incredibly dangerous (they eat other cats for christ's sake!) so him and Maisie would butt heads constantly because of this. They'd fight, Maisie would win, Fenrir would get even more mad but concede only if Maisie takes full responsibility if her spiderlings cause some accidents.

Butch (he's not a miniboss but his house is in the Alley): I imagine Maisie would bring all the spiderlings to his house, so it would get enveloped in spiderwebs in record time. He's not pleased about that, but Maisie is a BIG cat so he's cautious around her.

While I personally do headcanon Maisie as a supermom, I think that spiderlings would be a challenge even for her, since as mentioned, they tend to feed on other cats. So I guess that once the Spinnerette menace has been dealt with and they're big enough to fend for themselves, Maisie would bring them back to the Caves. She'd visit them of course!

A cartoonist pro-tip I live by is, when you're making a comic, you should start with the easier pages so you can get easily started and get into the flow of thing more easily.

It's a thing I've always lived by and frankly, it really helps me when making comics.

The only downside is that once all the easy pages are done you have to draw the hard ones which is bad bad no good horrible and bad

Franklin/Alice is a fairly popular ship over on Twitter (and by that I mean I’ve seen like. Two people shipping it lol) so this was inevitable. I love Newton! No idea why he’s yellow tho. Pee cat. Probably from another dimension (definitely not my AU where Franklin is Alice’s dad lmao)
