Ask her what's changed. What policies are different? What have they changed their opinions on?

This is not a new thing. It's not even an adjustment. It's a rebranding. Nothing else. Because the public-facing Democratic Party is nothing but a marketing platform. As has always been their Modus Operandi stretching back to the Civil War, the Democratic Party genuinely cares for nothing but Power... and they are not merely willing but joyful to lie about it. They have only ever focused on their outward appearance - what they claim to be versus what they actually are, and the two are always diametrically opposed. What Party started the KKK? the Democratic Party. What Party was the slaveholding South in the Civil War? Democrat Party. What did they do when the Civil Rights Act was in Congress? Held the longest filibuster in American history, against it. What did they do when they lost anyway? Established and maintained a Welfare State that financially rewards women for having children out of wedlock, destroying the Black family unit. What Party's president used a forklift to lift the barbed wire Texas had put on their own border in order to let illegal aliens flood in?... Guess. What about the Democratic Party has ever been pro-American?

So call them on it. Do you still advocate for abortion up until birth, for any reason? Do you still advocate for special rights for sexual deviants? Are you still for open borders? Do you still advocate for "Cancel Culture," for the constant rolling back of our First Amendment and Second Amendment protections? What are the exact differences you are referring to? Are there any, and are they being put into writing and campaigned on anywhere, or are you just saying things in hopes that I'll shut up and stop asking uncomfortable questions? Make them answer. Make them squirm.

There has always been "Woke;" it's been around for centuries. "Woke" is just the latest marketing ploy, the most recent name we call it. It's not "progressive," it's not "liberal," it's not actually concerned with "social justice." They simply lie about who they really are, and then when people inevitably begin to catch on to the lie, they just rebrand like they were nothing but a mere soft drink or something.

The Democratic Party has always been obsessed with Power, and has always been willing to lie to get it. You don't even actually agree with them. You've just fallen for one of the most deceptive, long-running Ad Campaigns the political world has ever seen.
