Scenery in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 01/??

Okay. I’ve been thinking about this ever since I finished THM. The last scene, Strike’s confession, totally reminded me of how the whole series started. Strike was about to chase Charlotte down the stairs, but Robin showed up and stopped him.

In the THM finale, the scene feels really similar. Strike runs down the stairs again, this time after the woman he actually loves. But now he catches up to her, and they actually talk (well kinda).

I can’t help but see some symbolism in the fact that the most important moment in their relationship happens on a staircase - it feels like a deliberate callback.

Did anyone else notice that? What do you guys think?
