Am I the only one who doesn't fancy speculating about the future of Strellacott?

I love the Strike Series so much but I don't really enjoy speculating about the future. I just love being surprised by Rowling and I trust her writing so much I know whatever comes is going to be better than anything I could imagine. I enjoy trying to pick up clues and see hidden things in what's already been published. I enjoy the whole mythology stuff hidden in the story. And I don't think any speculating can spoil me. I just enjoy the not knowing what's coming.

So, about that last chapter of The Hallmarked Man....

Whose phonecall was that? Robin? A potential client? I'm 80% sure it's not an irrelevant phonecall.

And... Do we believe the next book is going to start right where we left? Maybe from Robin's POV? Or is there going to be a time jump yet again?

EDIT: I just read that book 9 starts 5 minutes after the end of The Hallmarked Man 🫢
