If things are going bad in your life the most important thing you can do is fixate on a era of your life you can never return to. It is really important to romanticize it and remember it so incorrectly that it’s more of a false idol for worship than a memory. part of my july sabbatical (lol) has been about Media Intake so i read a bunch of books & have been catching up on like 5 years of real TV #RealTV. and so i've watched the gilded age the bear the pitt and am one season in on andor. doing this new thing where i just watch a piece of media and don't feel inclined to discuss it extensively. and i am enjoying it immensely
