I had been thinking a lot about food waste when I was a baker. The amount of scrap dough that we’d create - some of it would get used in the next days batch, but only a small fraction of it. The rest I’d drag to the dumpster and hope that the thin black garbage bag wouldn’t burst before I made it there.

Reductive Linocut print of a dragonfly, using a neat duo chrome ink for the base layer that shifts from purple to green.

I was feeling intimidated by the wings, but I actually had a blast carving them out.
