Incense Scrying
As an air witch, I scry using incense smoke opposed to a crystal ball or a bowl of water or a mirror.
What you’ll need:
Censer to hold your incense
Incense of your choice
Amethyst
Lighter or Matches
How to scry
Place your censer down and place the amethyst next to it or around it. Put your incense in the censer and light the incense using the matches. Gaze into the smoke- focus.
What do you see, what does it form? Take note of the things you see. Remember, you won’t always be able to see something when scrying and more importantly, you might not always understand what the things you see mean. Write them down and research, this form of Divination is especially good for communicating with deities from my experiences.
