Idk i can't take people that think fandom is so important seriously

#no your fanon ship is not more impactful than heatedr*valry or any gay media #it may be important to you but that is not the same as impactful

I said something about how shows that have 1 gay character really isn't impressive and we should be pushing for queer main characters/and stories centering on queerness. And I didn't expect people to disagree?

#I also said that its important to support and engage in indie queer works #and they said thats a hard ask for queer people??#like was this not the norm a decade ago?#maybe ive been on tumblr for too long but everyone pretty much told you to engage in smaller queer works #and that mainstream queer shows are not always to par with smaller works #like some of these people were wholeheartingly telling me they consider gensh*n impact gay media #and isn't that a little sad?
