happy birthday, gfalls !!

on june 15, 2012, a little show called gravity falls premiered on the disney channel. now, five years later, I want to come together as a fandom to celebrate five years of the falls.

the rundown

what is it? an ooc stream of a few choice episodes of gravity falls when is it? thursday june 15 at 4:30PM mountain time. (that’s 3:30 pacific and 6:30 eastern). the room will open at 4:30 to give people time to join, and the episodes will start at 5. random meme vids will be played until then where is it? on your computer/mobile device, on the internet, specifically in my rabbit room. who’s allowed to join? for now, I’m going to reserve this stream for mutuals of myself as well as mutuals of my mutuals. however I may make exceptions upon request. the room will be locked so as to keep out randoms, so no matter what you’ll have to tell me who you are. I would like to keep this stream as inclusive as possible, but I also want to keep it fun and I want everyone to be comfortable.  can I reblog this post? absolutely !! do you have followers who might wanna join? feel free to reblog and spread the word. you’re free to come and go as you please, as the stream will be running for a few hours. a list of the episodes we’ll be watching will be published before the stream begins, as well as the link to the room.

lol I wanted to do something bigger than just a sloppy animated bias list b UT the thing I had in mind is gonna take too long to do, so I guess I’ll be saving it for ANOTHER milestone. But holy fuck… I’ve literally never had to many followers on…pretty much any blog I’ve ever had. 

When I first made this blog, it was kind of on a whim, and I had no intention of getting so attached to this muse (or even realizing just how far in depth of an analysis on this poor kid’s life I was gonna get into rip). But wow, I am really glad I made this blog, and stuck with it for these nine months (getting close to a year too jfc). It’s been a wild year, and even wilder during the last couple of months. Made a lot of new friends, reconnected with old friends, and getting to know mutuals from my old blogs a lot better. 

I’ve had some people come and go, but hey, that’s just how life works. But there’s still a large handful that still stuck around, despite how shitty my mental health has been over the year and my time on this blog. But really, this blog wouldn’t be anything special without the great people I’ve met through this blog or just gotten to talk to more of through this blog.
