i’m losing followers because i think femme!rabbit is a stupid thing to call a character who is canonically henceforth chANGING GENDERS..

do you know “femme” is literally french for “woman” ?

but no it won’t be just rabbit anymore it will be…

I don’t know why people keep arguing about this…it’s just common sense not to add femme to her name? Like when Bunny told everyone she identified more as female we didn’t call her femme-Bunny [or worse, femme *birth name*], we just called her Bunny (because that’s her NAME). There’s no reason to call Rabbit “femme Rabbit” now that Rabbit is female. 

Cannon Rabbit is Rabbit. They’re not going to run around on stage saying “Oh hi the Spine.” “Oh hi femme Rabbit”.

It seems like people are still thinking of Rabbit as a male, and that the ‘normal’ Rabbit has to be distinguished from the now female Rabbit…. and that is just rude and gross.

Bunny did tell us to tag Rabbit's new designs "#femme rabbit" for the time being because she wanted to see them, if that's what you're all arguing about.

If we're arguing about people referring to her as "femme Rabbit" in casual conversation, I'd like to point out that Rabbit is still canonically male for the time being, and it would make sense to specify. After all, if you tell someone "I'm drawing Rabbit," they aren't going to know whether you mean the upcoming redesign or the current one. If Rabbit was getting a new name along with the change, people would stop calling her femme Rabbit and just call her by the new name instead. It's for specification. And I'm pretty sure when we start seeing Rabbit as a female on-stage, everyone will start calling her just "Rabbit" and use some other term to specify the male version.
