I know I said I'm gone for a while, but I just... want to clear up: I'm in a really bad place right now. Nothing drastic, but I do need space. I'll probably be back during or after Morphicon. I need to work on stuff to sell anyway.

My anxiety levels have been high enough and today has just made it exponentially worse. I really don't handle conflict well as it is... I avoid it for a reason that is very valid for me.

Those of you who have me on Skype can feel free to message me, or text me if you've got that. As for me? I'm blocking Tumblr from myself for a bit and just settling down with some Guild Wars and maybe a mug cake.

WHAT. NO. GARRUS IS BEST ROMANCE OPTION OF ALL TIME.

That's not what I meant at all, actually! The quality of the romance options in Mass Effect has never been in question, but the opportunity for queer romances is sorely lacking overall. In Dragon Age, p much everyone is Equal Opportunity Romanceable, but Mass Effect does not have this option.

So where Mass Effect has really GOOD romance options (I p much love all of them except one, with Tali, Thane, Garrus, and Liara being my favorites), Dragon Age has better diversity.

I laughed so hard at this, thank you. Is this your first time playing DA? I’ve never played, but I’m playing ME (currently working on 2) and loving it. I’ve wanted to get it for a while; how is it?

It's my second time, actually! I finished it once with a Dalish elf warden, and this time I'm going for human noble (I have every intention of having her  marry Alistair to rule beside him as queen, particularly since after my first playthrough I'm realizing I do NOT trust Anora). It's not a bad game series, though I personally feel Mass Effect is a bit stronger in story and plot progression.

Dragon Age has ME beat on romance options, though.

And that is just because he's voiced by Tim Curry.
