That's one way to meet an idol!

Floss lay her bass to one side, the instrumental section was finally finished. She checked the schedule, to see how much longer her band had the room for; only twenty minutes. That would be just enough time, to finish off cutting the raw track together.

Reed, Lacie and Kai had already left for Camden, to check out the venue space for that evening. Floss volunteered to stay and finish the quick edit, knowing the Tube would get her there in time for sound check. She picked up the headphones and started putting together the different recordings, making sure they were synced, properly.

I'm always the first one up, I've been awake since 5:30 this morning, when I got up to do my morning yoga. 4 hours later and I'm still the only one awake.

We've got to be in for sound check by 15:30, so, we've got a while yet. Maybe I should go for a run and revise the set list?

The young woman blushed and a nervous half laugh escaped her throat. Did he really just say that?! Floss was caught completely off guard, by his forwardness; this wasn’t the 2D she’d listened to in interviews. Oh dear, was that her heart she could feel in her throat?

This certainly was not the 2D Stuart showed the media. No, this, this was the 2D that pretty groupies backstage met. This, was the 2D that led them back to lavish hotels and was gone before the first beams of morning light could slip through the drapes. With the toothless smile that had lead him exactly where he wanted time and time again tugged on to his face, he shrugged his shoulder ever so nonchalantly.

The hue that coloured her cheeks darkened a touch and Floss could feel another stucato giggle, threaten to flutter out. But then, the young woman remembered herself, she wasn't about to make a fool of herself in front of one of her music idols. Floss gave his shoulder a playful shove, grinning right back at him.
