PINKD mentioned in Hebrew newspaper - Ha'aretz newspaper by Zefi Sa'ar - 'Pink work done by 30 creatives were grouped together by the British artists Liv Thurley and Aryana Hessami. The art book they edited, "PINKD", which was published recently in a limited edition was sold out in 48 hours. The book features art that explores and challenges conceptions, images and boundaries of femininity. In the preface, the editors place a quote from the movie "Mean Girls" from 2004: "on Wednesday we wear pink", that has become a part of pop culture. Why only on Wednesday?'
Some pretty crappy photos taken on my iPhone of the Jump From Paper Pink Collection Launch Party on Friday. We had a little stall selling PINKD Publication and some of the work from the book up (including mine, the sparkly pink ones, of course).
Selling books and other surprises here today! Come on down if you're about in London
