hihi guys!! i just came back from a trip with some friends and im dying, i bought so much Karasu merch i have a shrine now LMAO. My legs and arms hurt ;-; gotta project somehow :3

He would be at the waiting area 30 minutes before you arrive, minimum.

Would constantly be checking his phone, watch and pacing around (he needs to chill)

Once he sees you, his whole face lights up, eyes wide, big smile and running to you

"Babe!! I miss you so much!!!"

Would hug you tight and lift you up slightly

He would take a look at your disheveled and tired look and immediately fuss over you. "How's the trip? Are you tired? Hungry?"

If you were hungry, he would take you to a drive thru before bringing you back home.

Would ask you to shower before going to bed no matter how tired you are

"Rest first babe, everything else can be done tomorrow."

Cuddles you as you sleep cause those days where you weren't by his side were the hardest days

Rin

Like Isagi, would also arrive early ( he lies and says he just reached when you ask him)

Would try to act nonchalant, leaning on a pillar, hands in pockets

Once he sees you, there's no large gestures, nothing. He instead takes your bags and leads you to the car, a hand on your back

Once your settled in the passenger seat, he takes the wheel but his free hand slithers to take yours.

"I miss you." It's blunt and simple, but it's the most sincere you'll ever get from Rin

If your tired and your body is exhausted from the trip, he'll refuse to let you walk and instead carry you with one hand and your luggage in other

He would already have food ready for you at home regardless of if you are hungry or not

Would force you to shower before bed (if you ask nicely, he might even help you wash your hair)

Refuses to let you out of his sight, mumbling as he presses his nose into the crook of your neck.

"Love you...don't leave.." he would mumble as he subconciously drools on you.

A sleepy, some-what touch deprived Rin is an honest Rin

Karasu

He is NOT subtle about waiting for you (constantly checking his phone, pacing)

Would wear something just to get a rise out of you, rolling his sleeves up to show large forearms, wearing glasses eventhough he's not reading (he is not slick)

When you spot him, you blue screen cause why is he trying to make you lose your mind in a public place

When he sees you, he smiles, not one of those sly smirks but a genuine smile

Definitely the guy to lift you up and twirl you around in public

Doesnt let you walk from the start, slings you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes (much to your protest) and takes your bag in another

"House was quiet when yer not around." He says but you know he means "I miss you so much"

"Yer hungry, you choose, I drive." you think he's a psychic cause how does he know ???

Would subtly press against your sore spots when you're occupied "Don't think too much of it darlin'" but he's refusing to look at you

Doesn't care if you shower or not, but insists a change of clothes

Clings onto you like an oversized koala, whining, strong arms caging you in

All it took for Karasu to to turn into oversized softie was a few days of seperation

Yukimiya

Ever the gentleman, he brings flowers for you and is at least 10 minutes early

Is nonchalant, cause he knows you're fully capable of taking care of yourself.

When he spots you, his eyes light up instantaneously behind his glasses and he walks to you slowly, you both meet halfway and he brings you into a hug.

"I missed you so much dear. How was your trip?" oh this man KNOWS the way to your heart

Guides you to the car with one hand steadily on your back (of course he takes your bag, hell, if your feet hurt, he'll carry you with your heels dangling from his fingers

Has food ready before you even ask

Leaves no room for argument when he ushers you to clean up before bed

Brings you close to him when you eventually flop onto the bed, exhausted

"Sleep well dear, everything else can wait."

Hugo

Hugo has already left the house before you even send him a text (boy probably knows your schedule better than you do)

Was debating on bringing Loki along for mental support but Loki vehememtly refuses

When he spots you, there are no loud gestures, nothing. Hugo just walks to you, steady and warm and you can' t help but lean on him. (If you notice him snaking his arm around your waist, no you did'nt.)

"Ma Cherie, what took you so long?" he would ask and you would huff cause there was not even a 'hello' or 'i missed you' from your boyfriend.

Carries you effortlessly, even if you protest this hunk of a man will not budge, refusing to put you down.

I'd like to think Hugo lovessss listening to your gossip, friends who have drama, whatever shenenigans that happened on the trip, he would listen and nod (sometimes even giving input), all while one hand is steady on your thigh and another on the wheel

Would take you to whatever foodplace you requests (though not without some chides about the food being too greasy or unhealthy) but he still pays anyway

Doesn't really care if you choose not to clean up (but will politely request for a change of clothing)

Puts his whole body weight on you, arms wrapping around your waist as he nuzzles into the crook of your neck

"Destiny feels faraway when you're not here." Hugo mumbles before you fall asleep.

Bunny

I feel like he would be the guy to be like a minute late (cause he was fighting traffic or something) but somehow still manages to arrive before you walk out so he counts that as a win

Would stand out amongst the crowd ( my guy is almost 2m tall you're definitely finding him in a crowded area)

When he sees you, its on sight, he brings you into the warmest, most soft hug as he twirls you around with a big, genuine smile on his face (passerbys would look at you guys weirdly)

"Mi vida!!! You're finally back, ah, I've missed you so so much." he says, pressing a kiss onto your forehead.

If he hears even a single complaint about your legs hurting, he wastes no time in scooping you up with one hand and striding out of there. (if you wear heels, he'll pull them off gently, dangling them between his fingers)

You both would definitely go to a small, mostly unknown restaurant in some secluded area in Barcelona where the food is really good and the owner personally knows Bunny (because even if you aren't hungry, he probably is)

Would still feed you small portions of his food even if you say you arent hungry

Don't think he cares much if you decide not to clean up, hell you could even crash with your dirty clothes and he would be totally okay with it, all that matters to him is that you are here with him

"Nothing felt permanent without you here" Bunny confesses, holding you close.

He never said it out loud, but you are literally the light of his life.

Pairing: Maki Zenin x reader

Summary:

You are a daughter of a famous sorcerer clan, Mikage clan. You were brought up in strict boundaries where you have to prove your worth. The clan has its cursed technique - seeing the shape of a soul and modifying it. The technique is quite hard to tame and dangerous for those who are weak. And who are afraid. You have a strict, modest and reserved personality, by which you are concealing your real dreams and true feelings which are broader than getting married a man chosen by the clan or taming the technique to deserve your own place in the world. As you turned 16, you were quite expectably sent to the Jujutsu High. You have to become a first grade sorcerer, tame the family technique, gain reputation and just be perfect. As you were taught. To be a good girl. But then you meet Maki Zenin and forget how to breath.

May. It was your least favorite month of a year. You were to visit your ancestors’ graves and express respectfulness as their descendant. Even if now you were a student of the Jujutsu High it didn’t rid you of this oblige.

You came back only on the 10th of May. Emptiness by another admonishment.

How is it going? We’ve heard you have already taken 2 missions of 3-grade curses. It is not a lot. If you are going to be so lazy you will fail our reputation. Mark our words. We don’t let you disgrace us.

You could only keep smiling and nodding obediently. It is still your duty to act like that. Interact with family members, please guests of gatherings, talk to media politely but keep modest, submissive and correct deportment as father needs to be in the spotlight. He’s a man and he’s the head of the family. The main character. While you are just his clever little pretty daughter.

The only good thing was messages from guys.

“HEY U WEVE SEEN UR ASS ON TV WHAT THE HECK”

Nobara texted her at first. Maybe she was watching TV with Yuji and Megumi. You could almost hear her loud and cheerful voice screaming right in your ear.

“I am from Mikage clan. We are more than sorcerers. Family also owns some businesses^^”

You replied sitting in the estate’s garden hidden by cherry trees. You loved the fragrance and it let you run away at least for a while.

And then you received Maki’s message. You almost choke on air.

Did she remember about you? Think about you?

“Hey, first-year. When are going back? Forgot about our trainings or tryna skip it?”

She accidentally took to helping you with working out and almost mentoring you. It was… unexpected. But now she wanted only to answer the message as fast as she could.

“No, Maki-sempai. I am going to come back tomorrow. We can keep training right that moment I arrive^^”

You answered quickly trying not to drop the phone on the ground from your trembling hands. You still couldn’t recognize the feeling haunting you every time Maki appered and just breathed next to you. Confused mind, incoherent thoughts, a bit sweaty palm and unbreakable desire to prolong her presence near. This desire became vital need, maybe even unhealthy and paranoid.

Nobara taught you to use ^^ in messages. Firstly, you were surprised. Why should you use such a thing if words can fully convey meaning of everything. Then, she pinched your cheek and said:

“Silly! Because it is cute! What a strange person you are. Everything doesn’t have to have sense. Some things can be senseless”

And then you started using that ^^. Just to… feel what is it to do pointless funny trifles as other girls of your age.

“I see-I see, first-year. I hope you come back safely. Don’t let your shitty family force you into something okay?”

You gave a start of surprise but then… grinned softly and pressed the phone to chest covered with silk attire.

Maki was never blind. No. she was even too observant for a cold personality which she was always trying to maintain.

Maki was an offspring of a famous sorcerer clan. And she knew all to well how women had been treated there for centuries. As a supply, convenient attachment, furniture and sow. But almost never as a person. That’s why once she decided to run away and start her own story which she could rule. All by herself, not letting anyone disturb her stability or seize her achievements.

And you… she almost saw herself in your silent obedience, soft smiles, precise movements and perfectly concealed persistence and stubbornness of a mull. You were bright, kind, elegant, intelligent and so soft that she could almost be smitten with blindness. But Maki were able to see so much more in your upright and proud posture.

Resilience and strength. Even if your face was crossed with a gentle smile she felt your unbreakable will to go through the hell to prove worthiness. Even with sacrifices and infernal sufferings.

And it made Maki interested in you from the first meeting.

At first, she was watching you drag your heavy luggage with a mocking glance. You were looking around, trying to avoid anyone’s gaze. As if you can be seen in such a dark night, idiot, she thought holding her cursed spear.

Gojo was supposed to meet you and lead to the dorms so Maki left with no thought of helping.

But when she was you, standing there for an hour all alone in that tweed jacket and modest ponytail, something made her heart twitch. Maki wasn’t able to recognize the emotion, but when you smiled with that unforgivably innocent and fragile expression of yours she couldn’t bear a strong desire to hold your hand. To lock somewhere and protect. To touch tenderly.

That ardent longing… Maki is still not capable of figuring out the source of it. And it doesn’t scare. It makes her curious and almost greedy to understand. It was an enigma to resolve.

As well as you. Something in your softness and fortitude remain an enigma for her.

And Maki doesn’t plan to let you go without finding an answer.

It has been 2 weeks since you enrolled the Jujutsu High.

It still feels really strange to not be watched 24/7 by servant of the family estate all time. Firstly, you even didn’t lock the door of the dorm room as it was banned to have personal space. Or talk to loud. Listen to banned music. Wear inappropriate make-up such as lipsticks, mascara or eyeshadows.

You greeted all sophomores with a polite smile next day after arrival.

“I am from Mikage clan, you can call me y/n. nice to meet you”

It was said with a little bow as you have to follow the hierarchy between students to show respectfulness.

“Tuna mayo”

Inumaki answered in a bit low and calm voice. He still didn’t recover his throat after the last mission as you had known by Panda so sounded mildly hoarsely.

“Don’t worry, first-year. If you have questions just ask us”

Panda replied in his usual friendly manner crossing arms on the chest. But then he looked at Maki and coughed with a grin.

“However, don’t mess with Maki. She eats cute little guys like you as a breakfast”

He laughed again.

When you heard just her name something sank inside you. Something heavy and light at the same time. Something sweet and bitter. Something stifling and scorching in your stomach which made you almost choke on air and cough. And then that something appeared in your heart, forcing it to beat faster and your palms to become sweat.

You could only quickly clasp your hands behind the back and beam at Maki with a modest expression.

“Speak ill of me again? You are the only here who’s messing with me right now”

Maki grumbled and rolled her eyes adjusting the glasses. You swallowed hard as saw her insanely attractive hands in such a simple but gracious gesture. You desired those hands to touch you. Even for a second and accidentally.

“Thank you. But Maki-sempai helped me so much the night I arrived and I strongly believe that she is a reliable person”

Quoth you in suave tone trying to seem composed and, as you were taught, convenient. And maybe you wanted to get more of Maki’s attention. Just to hear her voice or see that smile which you was blessed to see last night. It still made something under your silk shirt with a pretty bow twinkle and stop for a second.

And she smiled. At you.

You could only conceal trembling fingers gripping the hem of your creamy blouse.

“And I will be really grateful if you help me in trainings and teach me”

You added surprisingly with no sense. It was so… not like usual you.

You are allowed to talk only if something important needs to be said.

That’s how your mother used to admonish you years ago.

And now you rattle off words just to be looked at by Maki. That phrase seemed to be usual, casual and appropriate in such a situation. But you said it only to be seen by her and think about you at least for a second. To make her notice you.

“I’m not gonna go easy on you just because of origin or power of the family. Got it, first-year?”

She promised with a broad grin twirling the cursed spear.

She’s gonna be the death of you. That’s for sure. That smile is too… too much to understand why it affected you so hard that you wanna reach for her hand and hold it carefully.

And it was too scaring not being in control of your feelings. Even in your own head.

“…and these guys are your groupmates!”

Gojo exclaimed with a bright smirk letting you in. Nobara glanced at you with interest as she missed proper communication with girls. And you were all polished, soft with that little bow braiding your hair and gentle expression.

“I am really glad to finally see all of you. I hope that we will become comrades and friends”

You told looking at Nobara who was grinning, Megumi who just nodded composedly, and Yuji who was exited as usual with that buoyancy of his.

“Hi! I’m Yuji Itadori, let’s be friends!”

He beamed at you so you just couldn’t keep that modest expression. He reminded you of the sun shining so strong.

Nobara quickly approached you and hugged your arm.

“I’m Nobara Kugusaki. I like your hair. What do you use to make them look so soft and silky?”

She asked with sincere interest almost staring at your neat long braid which was laying on your shoulders.

You weren’t used to being so close with someone.

You should keep distance with people. Don’t let touch you those who you are going to rule over.

That’s how father says to you since childhood.

“I use French and Korean haircare. I can share with you later”

You answered looking right in her hazel eyes. They seemed so cute that you wanted to forget about your parents’ words about ruling someone.

“I’m Fushiguro”

That dark-haired guy simply nodded at you again but you could see his barely noticeable friendliness. He was one of those guys who kept their cool to hide from every opportunity of… getting into trouble. Precisely like you. How miserable and relatable.

“Ugh stop acting all mysterious like Edward Kallen. Are you tryna impress her or what?”

Nobara tugged your arm a bit tighter and clicked her tongue at Megumi. Yuji laughed sitting at his desk and Fushiguro only rolled his eyes.

Watching your new groupmates you could feel that something again. But it was slightly different something. You understood this something. Unobtrusive and slight. As sand in summer.

And it promised something good even it still scares you by its suspense.

“Don’t disgrace our family”

The only thing which you heard before leaving the home. You just nodded with a reserved expression as usual. No smile, no hug, no warm word. Just dry admonitions and plain speech about being respectful and modest during the breakfast.

You… were a little bit happy to enter the college. Yes, it meant facing new things and obstacles which could bring to absolutely unfamiliar places. You weren’t able to let yourself even a little smile. There was no reason to laugh. A person can smile only if there is something acceptably funny. And you were still watched by a family driver during the way to the airport.

Tokyo. The capital of Japan which you secretly always wanted to visit more often. The first time when father brought you there was 10 years ago. He left you with some nanny who braided your reddish hair with before unknown gentleness. Tokyo was a place with a soft fragrance and illegally tasty sweets which your mother never let eat in your memories.

And now, going there completely alone only with one huge suitcase which you are not even allowed to carry. A lady can’t show her strength in front of men apart from fighting curses.

You sighed as the family driver put your luggage in front of the check-in counter. He just smiled and bowed his head leaving the building. Double-faced politeness which you accept since childhood. Nothing new.

All flight you were just listening to music and watching in the window, admiring the sight of night clouds and the sound of air conditioning above. Even such simple things meant to receive something… you weren’t able to get. Such unnoticeable trifles revealed the side of the world which was hidden from you by the rules and restrictions. And now you got an opportunity to see at least a tiny part of that.

The first of March. You arrived at 1 am, it was a deep night. Effortlessly carrying suitcase and looking around to avoid someone’s gazes, you entered the college. You had been informed that your sensei is Gojo Satoru and he was supposed to meet you. But instead if that you were just standing in the square in front of the main building with a modest and calm expression. Even if you were confused you couldn’t show that or you would show a weakness. It was unacceptable. Totally unacceptable and outrageous.

1.30 am. No one. Just the moon and no clouds on the sky. You only let yourself a sigh and kept waiting for sensei. You should wait and show your respectfulness as it would help to gain required reputation. Even if the clan doesn’t like Gojo with all hatred they still admit his status. The strongest.

This word made hear beat faster. The strongest. Respectable. Rich. Free.

You were almost jealous but downplayed it to ease your life there. After all, you could coax out all of his knowledge and use it as much as you want to.

2 am. You sighed again, buttoned your tweed jacket and adjusted your ponytail suppressing strange and pleasant feeling of anxiety with anticipation. Something was twitching in you, making you all riled up because of the awaited new life which you had been dreaming of since the time you could say “mama”.

You had a plan. Firstly, work hard and help comrades. Train as often as it is possible. Study diligently, tame the technique. Secondly, learn from teachers, be polite, composed and usefull. Go on missions as much as it is allowed. And then you will get the first grade, tame the technique and… maybe will be seen as a sorcerer. Not a someone’s wife and daughter.

2.07 am. You saw Maki Zenin. With an irritated expression and a cursed weapon in her hands. You only heard that she left Zenin clan to prove her worthiness. But… you couldn’t imagine that she was an alive goodness. Dark-greenish hair, golden eyes which were almost shining under the moonlight, curt and authoritative gaze making respect her and… something which you weren’t able to explain but made you forgot how to breath and think.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?”

Asked Maki with some cautiousness, looking right in your eyes.

Ugh. Even her voice was smooth and… so attractive that you swallowed slightly and gripped the hem of the jacket. What was that? Why were you feeling like that? Why it suddenly became hard to think and breath?

“I am a freshman, I am from Mikage clan, nice to meet you”

Told you with an acceptably polite and soft smile bowing head in respect and almost biting your cheek inside to calm down.

“I will be really grateful if you show me the dormitory”

You added in a bit low voice perfectly concealing trembling fingers.

“Oh. That one which that idiot had to meet?”

She clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes. Even her annoyed face made you excited for some reason.

“Sure. Come with me, I will show you the dorm and your room”

Maki said less aggressive and even let herself a smile too.

It was the most gorgeous, unforgettable and wonderful smile in your life. You felt a strange urge to see that smile always. You were amazed and scared at the same time.

And it was the first time when you preferred to forget about that.
