during player introductions the announcer was like number six Paige Beckers, bro that not her number, she’s number five and everyone in my section was like you got that wrong bc mind you everyone in my section was wearing bueckers jerseys and half the people there were in uconn or dallas or even azzi’s St. John’s shirt, there were a few like fafo shirts and it was crazy and like literally everyone was so happy for every single play made by both teams. It was insane. Yeah p was BAFFLED after she got her first foul, she started talking to the ref immediately after it was called but azzi was also like “bro what?” and then she got her second foul she started having more genuine conversations with the refs and then she got subbed out because she got 2 fouls in the first quarter and she got up like I think twice maybe three times from the bench throughout rest of the first, like literally every time there was a turnover near the Dallas bench, and she would get up and have more of her genuine conversations with the refs, yeah and even after I think her first foul was like what happened and like azzi had a lot of fouls and at one point, she did talk to the ref I think, and I got excited but it wasnt like pleading her case but it was really funny and I got excited that maybe she’d show more emotions but it’s okay she’s nonchalant Fudd. There’s no way Fudd would crash out like that Marina mabrey was lowk crashing out near the end. She bounced the ball really aggressively and she did not deserve that tech by the way like her and Arike were just joking around and the thing is, they didn’t replay but literally everyone in my section everyone was confused why she got the tech. Everyone I met they were all like Paige bueckers fans and they had her stuff and it’s really cool to see that it was giving Connecticut suns game. Like just with a huge Paige and azzi fan base and I understand that Paige coming to Toronto was big deal, but not that many people are rooting for the tempo at least in my section AND it’s a home game but whatever i was happy regardless of who won bc guys pazzi was in my city. They’re just a lot of Paige and azzi fans and when azzi and Paige hit those back to back threes we knew it was a good night for azzi. I’m really glad she had so many great buckets tonight. Other pazzi stuff were handshakes! Them finding a way to talk to each other on the bench but there’d be another person between them and ugh pazzi always talking on the court so professional and the assists they gave each other were so good im not even that sad tempo lost. Also guys seeing sassy azzi irl was hilarious and lowk Paige crash out irl was so funny. Anyway Paige keep making these insane buckets and feeding azzi threes and crashing out
