This made me cry
Coming soon: MyTransHealth, an app connecting trans people to knowledgeable, reliable and affordable healthcare providers.Â
19% of trans people have been refused healthcare because of their gender identity. 50% of trans people have had to teach their doctors about trans-related medical care. 28% of trans people have been harassed in medical settings. This app is desperately needed. Follow them at mytranshealth.Â
I AM CRYING HOLY SHIT. This is so important. You know I’m serious because I am actually using these things called capitalization and punctuation. You guys. Please. Please boost the hell out of this. It means so much.
*SLAMS THE SHIT OUT OF THE REBLOG BUTTON*
omg pls make this international / not just US-centric!
We won’t rest until every trans person on the planet has access to safe, affordable, and reliable health care.Â
I’m almost there!!! $1500 more to go!

Hi guys!! This year has been all about saving for my top surgery and I can finally say that the light is at the end of the tunnel. I’M SO CLOSE!! I started this campaign about a year and a half ago living in Portland, Oregon where my rent was so high that saving adequately for this operation was simply not an option. With that said, I made the trek back to Albuquerque, New Mexico, my home, in order to afford/make this surgery a reality. Finally, a year later, I am nearing my goal to set my surgery date with Dr. Peter Raphael in Plano, Texas in January/February 2018. I am continuing to save through the completion of the year with what my budget will allow and the remaining balance which I am posting here is the rest of what I need to be able to receive my surgery by the set date.
The breakdown of these costs includes the surgery itself, my required medical stay in Texas, and a few necessities that I need to cover as I will be out of work for a minimum of 8 weeks after surgery. My partner is generously taking off 2 weeks off of work and covering the remainder of our bills/rent for the following 2 ½ months during and after my operation. Please share of donate if you can! I’m so close!

This is the sign that broke my heart.
Trans kids are not a threat.

Happy Valentine’s Day. Why don’t you celebrate it by spending more time with the glorious #BlackGaySlay hashtag
It’s…just…so….beautiful!!! Also, the way at least one member of #BlackGaySlay stood up for himself in response to a homophobic bully is seriously inspiring. His clapback has received 106,000 likes and nearly 40,000 retweets.
Queer people came out in force on Saturday in front of Stonewall Inn to protest members of the Trump administration like Betsy Devos and Mike Pence
Despite Republican arguments that Trump is in favor of gay rights, Trump has expressed support for the First Amendment Defense Act, which lets businesses decline to serve people for religious reasons. The rally also drew attention to Trump’s cabinet as some of “the most anti-LGBT nominees and appointees in modern history.“
I keep seeing that post where the Westboro Baptist Church is holding anti-Trump signs and people are like “Hey something I agree with them on, not bad” or whatever. And let me just remind you that these people literally hate everyone and absolutely HATE the LGBTQ community, Jews, Muslims, women, etc. they’re racist and hateful and this is not the fucking time to act like they might be okay guys JUST because they spoke out against Trump.Â
And let me fucking tell you, they aren’t speaking out against Trump for the same reasons that you hate Trump. They don’t give a shit what he says or does to minority groups, they don’t care about all the horrible shit he’s planning to do. They literally do not support any leader but their God and they think Trump is evil because he has been divorced and remarried - two things they view as sinful. Like, they don’t give a shit about you and they’re just as evil as ever. Don’t start humanizing the fucks that protested the funerals of the Pulse shooting victims, the Sandy Hook victims, and the Charleston shooting victims with their “God Sent the Shooter,” bullshit.Â
Trump’s Muslim Ban Realized
Today on 1/27/17 Trump closed America’s doors to refugees, indefinitely, banned immigrants from several countries, suspended the Visa program, and effectively left untold numbers of people stranded–including those with Green Cards and especially those with no where else to turn who had already been approved to come here.
It is not a ban purely on Muslims, just on specific (majority Muslim) countries, so there’s a chance it could hold up in court.
He signed this executive order on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Even if he didn’t understand the significance of that, I have no doubt Bannon and the other nazis on his staff did.Â
This is monstrous.
27 January: International Holocaust Remembrance Day
On this day we honour and remember the nearly 21 million innocent souls who fell victims to hate racism and prejudice crimes, nearly 7 million of which were slaughtered for being who they were.
6 million Jews (1.5 million of which were children)
96 000 - 220 000 Romani
270 000 People with disabilities (be it physical or mental)
14 million civilians, caught in the crossfire, famine and ugliness of war from all over Europe.
This day is an important reminder of what once was and what should never be again.
May their rest be more peaceful than their life and may their memory be a blessing.
Never Forget.
