Tankgirl (trenches)
Wanted to do a tankgirl painting for a while. There was a sketch where I have it her more chaotic side but I went with a simplier side for this one.

Tankgirl (trenches)
Wanted to do a tankgirl painting for a while. There was a sketch where I have it her more chaotic side but I went with a simplier side for this one.
Interview (realm decay)
I was listening to classic country while makin it. Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins,Bob Dylan. The concept is basically an alien that looks like a cowboy gives his take on the state of things. He essentially said "the world is in disarray but I'm livin in it"
The Radiation
I was really bored, so I thought "Godzilla" since I haven't done one in a while. I didn't want it overtly detailed either so kept it simple.
You And I
For this queer painting, I wanted to do something retro yet modern so I listened to Stevie Wonder while at a queer bar. I also wanted to do an evolution of Can U Feel It from the Sweet and Tender series. Granted, I don't think this one hits the same high as that painting did like I had to sacrifice 3 canvases in order to get to that one, but this one is solid to me.
Refuge (painful shift)
I wanted to do something that's akin to the dissection series I did a while back, but with a lot more perspective. My interpretation of this piece is either gender or body dysphoria depending how you play it. I had the base for it and then just improvised it by the end.
Pacino Marathon: The Godfather and Scarface
Honestly I could've done more roles but ending it with Scarface feels right.
Pacino Marathon : And Justice for All
Had to sacrifice another canvas for this one. So much green you count him as foliage
Pacino Marathon : Devil's Advocate
Al Pacino as Lucifer, Inspired casting no notes.
Savitri
A detour from the Pacino Marathon. Made this in a family cookout and listened to nujabes for this.
Pacino Marathon : Dog Day Afternoon
Another Pacino movie I liked. The reference I used was kind of drab on the color palate side so I had to improvise.
Pacino Marathon: Serpico
Starting a painting series based on Al Pacino cuz I think he's a good actor. Serpico is the tamest film out of his classic period so I chose that as the first.
Enjoy Yourself (K.O.P)
Wanted to an MJ work since the movie came out. I wanted to portray him as like a normal guy instead of the moonwalker we know him for. In essence,he wanted to be normal. Decent movie btw but oh God that sequel is gonna be depressing.
Slayer (gurl)
After a Thief of Hearts, I wanted to more transfem stuff but combined with the dark aesthetic in my artstyle. So I listened to more electronic music from trans peeps. Arca, Sophie, Caroline Polachek, etc.
A Thief of Hearts
This is a first for me, as this is the first time I've painted a transwoman. She took a liking to my work and she essentially said "Paint me. Do something cunty with it." and I was like "alright" and got to work on it. She loved it.
The Exhibition Works Vol 2: I Thought I Knew Him
A live painting I did during my exhibition. Sat on the floor for 2-3 hours making this. My legs were aching. Listened to singer songwriters for this piece like Fiona Apple, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Regina Spektor etc. for this piece as well.
White Heat
Another one inspired by the velvet underground. I was going for a drag queen look but ended up with goth rock. Could go either way tho.
Let Me Dance Away
Painted this in a library for 2 hours. Listened to Geese's Cobra while making it. My friend said it's vaguely sad.
