Why is it all of this, “Uhm sweetie, only one side is wrong and it’s all deserving of hellfire?” People are flawed and don’t see the error of their ways until they’ve matured past their current mental state. Rei and Endeavor fucked up in such a way that real people do, and some of ya’ll project way too much of your own parents and situations into this fictional work and then when someone is projecting their own feelings and life experiences you freak out.
Did Touya deserve better? Yes. We’re any of these actions against the Todoroki children done in Malice? No. Is Dabi correct in how he grew up to become a sadistic murderer? No. Was the beginning of his downfall the result of Endeavor’s actions and words to an impressionable boy? Yes. Did Rei and Endeavor teach their children right from wrong? They obviously had or all three other children would be just as psychopathic as Dabi. Nobody is in the right here, and this is just like real life, bad ideas that cause a snowballing effect.
But, just like the UWU Fandom Dabi who loved his brothers and sisters was shit on, the SUPREME ABUSE! Endeavor is also not true. Everything is so much more complex than what you literal children are capable of understanding and you hurt and abuse others because of it.
