Dark Choco always wakes up whenever Sour Butter has those nightmares, even before Sour Butter wakes up, he can hear them mumbling and softly weeping in their sleep..
Dark Choco is not very good with comforting others, but he always tries his best whenever Sour Butter has those nightmares occur, gently rubbing their back with his calloused, scarred hands until Sour Butter calms down...
Sour Butter is VERY aware of Dark Choco's past, and very aware of Dark Cacao Cookie and he and Dark Choco's.. unfortunate past.
needless to say, Sour Butter is NOT very fond of Dark Cacao at first, even after Dark Choco has told them time after time that he forgives him
Dark Choco is VERY physically affectionate, and very big on acts of service, he takes it upon himself to be Sour Butter's body guard, despite Sour Butter's requests that they are perfectly fine by themself, they don't discourage Dark Choco's insistence, even if they can take care of themself, they would never pass having an excuse to be with their significant other
Sour Butter is the chef of the relationship, they have lots of experience with cooking and baking for the poorer cookies of the lower city, and they have no problem cooking for Dark Choco as well
they especially love making sweets for him, as Dark Choco has told them about how Warriors of the Dark Cacao Kingdom were discouraged from partaking in such delights when they reach adult hood
Sour Butter can ALWAYS tell when Dark Choco is hungry, they take it upon themself to make sure Dark Choco takes to upmost care of himself
Sour Butter always reassures Dark Choco about how much they love him, and how they would never abandon them even if the witches demanded it, they would rather crumble than abandon him or make him feel unwanted
