Purple diamonds in her eyes told that she was one of Jester's Jokers, yet the green heart pin around her neck and a every clear bite mark would indicate she was more than likely a mate of Harlequin's. "I heard your offering piercings here?"

At first Nix didn't turn around, only nodding as they finished putting away boxes of piercing jewelry back into their places. "That's my name." Turning around, Nix also had a clear bite mark of the same kind. And hanging around their neck was not a pin, but a preserved scale of Harlequins.

"Come into the back and let's get started."

She nodded walking into the back, taking note of the bite and the scale. She tried her best to avoid the other mates. She knew herself and her jealousy. "Ah, I see the green goblin got you too. How wide his taste are, no?" She hummed. Maybe getting to know one this one time wouldn't hurt.

"Harlequin? My love...." The brunette kneel down next to his cage, closest to where he was curled up. Her hand reached through and gently petted him. The last time this happened it was because of her. "I'm so sorry love..." she whispered softly, wanting to comfort him in anyway possible.

Her face however was bruised. Black and purple from when she tried to restrain him in Jester's tent and ended up being thrown by his tendrils. She had just hours earlier become a Jester. Her uniform wasn't even ordered yet. Harlequin didn't know yet. And she was praying he hadn't recognized her in the tent. Or that Jester wouldn't look through her eyes and see what she was doing. Being eaten was not on her agenda

my.. Dear..? You're here.. Are you... You're hurt. *He nuzzled into her touch before using his Tendrils to stroke her cheek affectionately.*

"I'm fine my love. It's just a bruise." She whispered her other hand gently grabbing his tendril so she could place a kiss upon it. "I'm sorry about Athena dear...... is there anything I can do to help?"

I want you to be here for me... Wait... Your eyes.. *his ears lowered* you're.. One the Jokers. Did I hurt you? Baby.. Were you in the tent during my rampage? I..I could've killed you and our child inside you..

"My..... eyes?" She repeated before he finished, then it dawned on her. Her face paled a bit and she nodded. ".... to paraphrase, since he found out I wasn't human, that I needed to pull my own weight. I've been a guard before so...." Her face lowered and she continued in a whisper. "That all happened only a few hours ago... before Athena. I was in the tent...... the bruise is from that."

*his ears lowered before he tried to pull her into the cage. He sighed, then let go of her so she could slip inside herself* I'm... So sorry...

Slowly she wiggled her way in. Her head getting stuck momentarily before she finally was in. "You needn't apologize love. I've done worse over a bottle of wine." Sge whispered, cupping his face gently and then kissing his forhead, cheeks, snout and finally hid lips.

*he closes his eyes, returning her kisses before gently cradling the back of her head. He purred info the kiss, even scooping her up and holding her against his chest as he kissed her*

Patricia smiled slightly, wrapping her arms around his neck as her against his chest. "Don't worry love. I'll pretend not to see your other mates and talk with Jester." She whispered against his lips.
